that is great! i am happy for you. do you have to go on the liquid diet now? i have been onmine just in case i get an approval, and i still have 6 lbs to lose before surgery.

I agree, please call your surgeon, they told me to callif anything just didnt feel right. with a temp you should call for sure.

i am excited too. the only thing i am nervouse about is them saying no.....i am praying for God's will, he already knows what i want, but i know He knows what is best for me. it is hard not to get frustrated though. I haven't had surgery yet, but my doc told me that after the surgery, if i feel anything abnormal to let them know. i would call your sergon and express your concern. my doc said i wouldnt be bothering him, he would rather be safe than sorry. Take care, Kat

i haven't had my surgery yet, or even have a date, but i do know how you are feeling I have been under 4 times for other medical procedures and feel the same way. I don't know if you believe in God, but what helped me was to pray pray pray. pray for Him to calm your spirit and give you peace. And when you get in there to get knocked out, pray till you fall asleep. God bless Kat

well, if i get approved, ii go to a class and they decide at that point the date. i am hoping for christmas break, but it depends on on their schedule. i am already on the diet so that the weight he wanted me to lose will be off. they said as early as 2 weeks after the class, soit is kind of all up to the insurance now. whats your story? married or family to help you? i wanted to do it on break so my husband wouldnt have to worry about getting the kids to school.

I am right there with you... mine was submitted on11-27 and they are reviewing it now. i called for an update today, but she said it is still in review. She told me to call anytime for an update, buti was worried about irritating them too. Lets hope they come through soon with an Approval. Do you think you will get a surgery date for sooner or later? i am hoping that i will be at my pre-opp weight if they come through then i go to one class aand get my surgery date...thats ifi get anapproval right away. Are you excited?

I'm glad you have a lot of support....I think that is what will help the most if we get discouraged.

Hello, My name is Kat. I am 35, married, and a mom of two. I have been dealing with weight issues since 1st. grade. Up and down. I finally made the decision to have the surgery because I have several health problems and am in constant pain. So I am hoping that losing this weight will reduce it. Oh I forgot to say where I was in the process. I am waiting for approval. I have all my testing and clearances out of the way. I am just hoping for and approval. I am trying to bpas the mandatory 6 month weight watchers program because I have trie it several times and just can't be there regularly because of my disabilitys. Hopefully they will listen to the doctors recomendations.
