I still drink protein drinks. I found out sometimes when I can't get anything to go down I can always get that protein shake to go down.

I Had my lap band done in Acuna, Mexico. Dr Jose Rodriguez was my doctor. Had it done a little over a year ago and I've lost 70lbs. My ticker still says 65 but I don't know how to reset it. Anyway Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are great! -

Dr Rodriguez was my doctor. I can only say good things about him. His staff is wonderful, treated me really good. The Hospital is small but very clean. I don't think you would go wrong by going to him. -

Dr. Carroll did'nt do my surgery, but he does all my fills. He's a great guy, straight to the point kind of person. I think you will like him. I was self pay and had my surgery done in Mexico. ~Betty

How often do you weigh?

I weigh only once a week only. I've notice if I weigh daily its up and down because of fulid. I weigh on Monday right when I get out of bed. ~Betty -

YES I have. People treat you dfferent when your big. It really hurts and can cause you to think bad about yourself. -
Hi, here is another in her forties. Ha! I've been banded a little over a year and doing great. I've got a 4cc band, and I have 2.5cc's in it. Having the band was the best money I ever spent!

I've been 1 yr. 2 months out. I have had no complications. I'm 10 lbs from my goal. I've reach my Dr's goal. The only thing sometimes I take to big of bites and up it comes. Thats my fault. I love my band, it has been a true life saver. -

My port area always feels a little sore for a few days, but never sharp pains.
