I would say at least 6-8 weeks. Need for your pouch to be healed. Walking is best for now. Ask your doc or nurse.

Stitches on my tummy? I think they are ones melt away after a while. Never told if they needed to be removed. I did have a drain and they took that out at the hospital. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk

They gave mean bottle for pain but I have yet to use it. I yet to be in any pain. Then again every body is different. I feel like nothing ever happened. Although I can say that my food intake has changed of course. I'm already down 25 lbs since the 4th. Key for me I have hitting the gym and walking about 1.5 to 2 miles a day. Wish I could answer your question. Mine surgery was on a Tuesday and was told I could leave on Thursday but decided to day an extra day. So you might be able to go to RPO. I just started pureed foods an by Xmas eve/Xmas I might be able to do some sort of soft food like fish. It won't be much but it will be something. Good Luck on you new life!!!!! So my surgery was on Dec 4th. I think I'll be still at the puréed stage. Being part of an Italian family. I'm wondering if I might be able to get away with some sort of soft fish and maybe be able snick in a shrimp or two. Just looking for and ideas what I might be able to do. What about DD iced coffee decaf? My norm was Splenda with cream. If I'm able to go back to it I guess skim milk might be the way to go. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk

Get to go home today. On Clear liquids. What I get to choose that was on the tray? Well crystal light lemonade, hot tea, green Jello or beef broth. Beef broth had worse smell and I tried it and was nasty. Sticking with green jello and crystal light. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk -
