I'm running out of ideas of things to eat. I don't like seafood' date=' and I feel like I'm eating the same things over and over and that's always been a pet peeve of mine, I like variety, and when you're so limited it's hard to switch things up. I guess maybe I'm just frustrated because my husband got himself a pizza for dinner and I'm like "mmm...soft chicken....again"[/quote']How about a crustless quiche? Or a cauliflower crust pizza? Chili, egg salad, anything like that? Change up the way you make chicken. Try slicing an onion up, season your chicken and roast it on top of the onion.

I think it's salmon burgers and roasted asparagus tonight. I'm pretty sure my husband can handle that lol.

Lisa I hope you feel better. I can come take care of you in exchange for cooking lessons. Hurry up and feel better. I miss seeing your wonderful dinners your preparingYou're so sweet . I'm in bed with my foot propped up dozing away the day. My husband has to take over dinners. Poor guy lol. Luckily I stocked up on easy things. I foresee lots of scrambled eggs and tuna fish.

Final diagnosis...twisting displaced fracture in my foot. Both knees sprained, and my back is sprained too. I will be sipping like a crazy person from now on.

I hope that you heal quickly! I'm sure you've tried different types of liquid- but just wanted to check... Sometimes for (seemingly) no reason Water makes me nauseous feeling' date=' so I have to change it up with tea or something. Feel better!![/quote']
Tea is my go to. Water makes me feel ill unless its flavored. I've had three bags of fluids and my urine is still dark. Plus I just freaking hurt.

I try but drinking makes me a little nauseous. But I'll have to try harder because I am in so much pain. I can barely move.

I learned first hand today that even slight dehydration can be dangerous, especially if you already have low blood pressure. I passed out twice this morning resulting in tissue damage to my knee and back, along with a very painful broken foot. I also have to stay overnight in the hospital for monitoring. So sip sip sip!

It was really good, especially given that I had planned to make something else and didn't have what I needed. My husband and daughter wrapped theirs in tortillas. Mine was like a stew. So good.

Lisa... I want to live at your house... Your dinners always sound so good!!!!
The more the merrier . I love to cook, so I'm always playing with the foods we like to eat to make them wls-friendly. There's no reason our food shouldn't taste good. My husband has lost 15 lbs since my surgery lol. The only thing for me...since carbs are my kryptonite, I just don't eat them. No bread, Pasta, rice, white potatoes. So it can be a challenge.

Also, I'm a few weeks farther out than you.

Can you eat both of those? I can only eat the small can of tuna that comes with crackers.
DOS 12/17/12
No, I didn't manage both. However, that's only 1/4 cup of tuna, 1 Tb light mayo, 1 tsp Greek yogurt and onions on top of two small Tomato slices, topped with a total of 1 Tb of reduced fat cheese. The lettuce leaves were about 4-5 inches in diameter. All total it was about 1/2 cup of food. I ate 1 and 1/2. It's 166 calories, totally yummy and satisfying.
