  1. Great story and I love what you tell people about how you are losing. If someone is very obese would you tell them about your bypass?
  2. The pouch doesnt contain stomach acid, unless you ate an acidy food it is trying to process. That empty pouch feeling is uncomfortable abd you may indeed be hungry
  3. Park hills missouri..bout 45 min from st louis
  4. You look fabulous. Those pics kinda look like mom and daughter! Two different women and you look so much younger
  5. I do great with rice. Dont havit it often but love it
  6. Because reproductive organs are important in maintaining hormone levels. Hormone replacement is hard on the body. I know. I had the ablation donevand then a year later needed hysterectomy. Have been on hormones for 3 years and buddy talk about moid swings, hot flashes, cold chills...its a nightmare
  7. Thats typical. Your body is wired from energy of melting fat off. It gets better
  8. That sounds plausible. Get well buddy!
  9. That sounds plausible. Get well buddy!
  10. I wasnt alliwed to eat meat for 2 months.
  11. I have had a csect, 3 abdominal surgeries to remove scar tissue, a hysterectomy, and gall bladder before rny and made out great. You will too!
  12. Could your blood sugar have been low?
  13. Bread is digusting when you have to break it down to applesauce consistency. I hate bread now. Cookies burn the pouch and make you dump. Eat a cracker instead
  14. I go to bed at 7 or 8 every night. I find I enjoy the sleep and it keeps me away from food during the major snacking hours
  15. Compliments make me super uneasy. I wish people would not look at me. Once I am at my goal I may feel I deserve compliments, but not yet. I still have too far to go.
  16. They basically just want to make sure you dont have eating disorders. Trying to binge eat after surgery could kill you, as could trying to be anorexic or bulimic
  17. Once you have the surgery, you will realuze how much food this is. Even when you think you are being good. Thats about 3 days or more worth of food after rny
  18. It is tough dieting, but rny is tougher. Diets let you have a break for vacations, rny is forever. I dont regret, but I.think we would all like to eat whatbwe want and still be thin
  19. The bariatric advantage are the best. Syre beats wasting money on other types like I did. The vanilla chewables are, awesome
  20. I think lastmeals are important. You wont ever get to eat like that again...ever. Im 5 months out and although happy I can enjoy meals out, I am also sad I didnt do any last meals. Do your self a favir. Eat a big ol sandwich. You will never again be able to eat that amount of bread and you have to deconstruct everything. Plus, bread is gross when you have to break it down to applesauce consistency. So enjoy before your journey begins
