Sorry to be descriptive but im talking about the gungky black/red stufff (i wont even mention the smell!!) which i imagine is left over blood from the op. it was such a shock... At first i was worried but logic set in.....

I have brought a liquid multi vitamin... Which i hope will ok on my stomach. I didnt think of calicum ... Im 4 day post op... When should i start to take them?

Im hoping that my doctor will write me a note to my husband stating that i am not allowed to have sex for at least 6 months!!!! Lol

Hang in there .. It will get better ! Every day u do it, it will help your surgery go easier. That thought alone is a great motivator!!! Good luck stay stronge!

Go in for my op!!! Sitting in the waiting room , waiting to be called in for prep. Im strangly calm - hope thats a good thing- I came alone - a decision that i am very happy with- i just couldn't handle the stress of my husband. He would be sitting next to me on this phone all the time. But instead his having to deal with the kids in the morning ( a first) and im here reading a book in silence. Pity i cant have a coffee to go with it! I am just ready. Not too nervous not too scared, just ready.

Thank you for all the good wishes. The opwration went find and the sureogn had to remove also my gall blabber as he enough stones in there to build a giuse! Its now midnight and coming back to the real world i belive was a complete zombi yntil now. The staff let me sit for a few hours but ni qalkin. Instead i have strange sock things which are attached to a punp qhuch inflates and deflates - likw a masage to stop any clota forming in the lega. It very relaxing Ok off to sleep - please forgive any typo's

Im this moment 15 minutes away from my hospital to do the op. im having the gastric bypass because for me, the years of success with this WLS makes me feel secure of losing and the fact that is not just restriction too Im doing a revision from a lapband .. Which didnt help lose, it just made me unable to eat ( and sometimes drink and breath) while leaving me hungry. But amazing all the bad food would easily slip in. I do Not want that option again I feel that i will have a great tool for eating healthy after this op. Why did u want the sleeve and not the Rny? How strongly does your doctor recommend it? Do u trust his experince/ knowledge / him? It must be very hard to have to choose suddenly after having your mind set on the sleeve . Good luck and i hope that u choose the best option for you and your health

I find that if i drink Water it keeps the hunger at bay ... I start my morning with about a liter and a half ( just under 50 oz i think) i sit down with a jug and make myself drink it. Not only it makes me feel full , also i find myself thirstier than if i dont drink , so i end up drinking alot more water. Water will help u loose too... And i end up doing alot of sport too !!! -- running to pee ever 5 minutes!! :-) . But dont drink alot of water the day of your weigh in as it will make you gain. Good luck fingers crossed

Juditha Sept 5 Judith 281. 272 Hi all! I didnt introduce myself correctly...... Im judith ( juditha) from the uk but living in israel. My op date is 5th !!(wow 3 more days!!) to day my weight is 124kg or 272ils . I have lost 4 kgs on the pre op low car diet it is amazing that my revison to bypass op is so close Good luck to all on their path of elimination!!

It begins... On sunday i have to go to meet the anethisist ( if thats spellt right) which is 3.5 hours each way . Along way to go for a 10 minute meeting! Then on wednesday morning i have my op - hopefully revision to bypass ( if its possible in one op) . Today the told me what i have to pay (. Here in israel we have national health which is great and i opted to pay for their "platimun" service. ) so for the operation with my choice of surgeon, private top rated hospital, all final tests, 4 night and even a sea view ...$370!!! Pity i wont be sampling their cusine! Lol

Its not just other people who treat us different. WE do too! ( sadly im speaking from past experience .. That weight that i lost came back to visit bringing some of its friends along too:-(....) When we have lost weight we treat ourselves better. Take more care- usuallly- of our appearance. We are happier and show it and therefore other people notice it. We smile more therefore more people smile back. In short the confidence that we gain after weight loss shows ! We feel more attractive therefore we are...... I have my op on wednesday ... And can't wait for that feeling.... At the moment i feel as confident as a bull in a china shop

Thanks. Are you looking forward to geting that horrible band out of you too? No thati have no fill, its ok but with even 1 cc the problems begin. I cant wait. Where are you getting yours done? How long will u be in hosiptal for?

Im excited and some strange way looking forward to having a few days alone with the new me ... After 2 months of kids at home a trip to a hospital is look upon like going to the spa!!! Lol. I probably will be nervous on the day....

My husband knows -- but doesnt really understand ( after telling maybe 10 times that i will be away from home at least 4 days if not a week.. Yesterday he asked if i can come home on thursday - a day after the op!! ) i live an hour and a half from any hospital and 3 from where im having the op! I should have sms him it!!!. Apart from half a husband 3 friends know and that it. I can not decide if or what to tell my kids (12, 9, 5). I have no family living here (im english but ilive in israel) so theres no need for them to know/worry

Im also on the 5th!
