  1. I am on full liquid diet which is phase one and phase two. hopefully tomorrow I go to phase three which is pureed. my diet consists of creamed soups cottage cheese pudding yogurt protein drinks decaf coffee and tea diet v8 juice and any SF drinks except soda. SF jello. popcicles fudgecicles plus any of clear liquid phase
  2. cheese? like I don't have to puree it? but chicken and tuna puree it right? what do you add to it anything?

  4. yes I had my surgery October 29th. so a week out. I have taken it since coming home from hospital on Thursday
  5. I am on full liquid diet and can have cottage cheese just chew it well surgeon said. and SF puddings I am not sure about the jams
  6. haven't tries ricotta cheese and yes about popcicles. and also blue bunny sugar free fudgecicles and they have 4 grams of protein. each popcicle equals to 2 ounces of fluid.

  8. how?? I can barely get 25 ounces of Fluid in and 15 if Protein. at least I can get my Vitamins in. surgery was 10/29
  9. well so far I an using cottage cheese SF popcicles and cream of chicken and broccoli and cheese from Campbell 's. I have my total lean protein shakes which I can only do 5 ounces a day right now. and I have eaten the instant sugar free puddings

  12. there us no way the first 3 days advil or just tylenol would have worked. I had dilaudid and roxicontin in hospital and loritab for home. I am a week out and still need at least 1 a day
  13. I am having a hard time getting all the fluids and protein in as well. I guess its normal at our stage. I an on phase 1 and phase 2 but u cab have cottage cheese which seems to do pretty good. don't have to blend it either just chew. And I found a cream of chicken with mushroom soup from Campbell's that is really good. and today became addicted to popcicles. I am glad to hear you are feeling great. today started a new pain for me. so debilitating I want to pass out from and my pain meds surgeon gave me loratab doesn't phase it. I think I have a cyst on my ovary bursting or something. never happened before but will go to doctor if not better by morning. I go Tuesday for my one week post op
  14. Feeling ok. Been terrible the pst 2 days with impacted bowel then started my monthly today after just getting off it last week. Not sure how much i should be eating and when how are you?

  17. Keeping ne longer. White blood cells elevated. If still up in the morning dr is doing a cat scan
  18. Sorry for not keeping updated. Am too sick to really post. the paun is way worst and nausea wat worst then expected. was not given binder or pain pump

  21. Sandy is hitting me as a blizzard with over 2 feet of snow. I have surgery in the morning and all thos will be going on while i am there. the hospital is an hour away and only rain and wind there but possible power outages. Not nervous or anything just scared that they will cancel surgery.
  22. Thanks you too dawn good luck . we are now having a major snow storm with blizzard on tuesday. My surgery is an hour away and they are only getting wind and rain but my whole state west virginia had a high chance to lose power. I live in beckley if yall want to keep uptodate with storm lol

Sorry i have had internet problems so i am here so so i have to be at hospital at 10 for surgery at noon i did not have to do a bowel cleanse. my one week liquid diet was phase one and stage two which really helped a lot . And nothing to eat after midnight tomorrow. My daughter got here this evening she will be staying with me in the hospital and helping me till my week post op appointment. And we are under a winter storm watch from this huricane sandy. Sore throat is finally gone. I hope i am ready but honestly i could use one more week before surgery.
