  1. I was too, but unsweetened applesauce I had no problem with. And that stage I had it almost everyday. I didn't eat much of it cause I was told you eat Protein first then fruits and veggies so by the time I got to it couldn't put much in but I would go for it. They gave me puree fruit cocktail in the hospital. But any protein can be pureed with a little broth or the cooking liquid as well as veggies. Fruits can usually be pureed by itself some may need a little Water.< /p>

  2. In a month. The first is what I was eating in the hospital and the second is what I can eat now. I didn't finish the apple sauce and couldn't eat all of the second link but I think I'm doing pretty good. I feel like a normal person again.

Its one scrambled egg 2 morningstar vegetarian sausage links and 1/4 cup of applesauce.

  3. I have not had children and I tried the Nuvaring. It didn't wok for me' date=' it just super weird and collects - umm material around it. It slides down when you pee.. I've run out of options so I'm doing birth control pills and condoms.

You should check out implanon, its an implant in your arm.

  4. I love pickles too!!! I had a small piece but I just sucked on it I was scared to swallow like you I didn't want to upset my stomach. I'm only a little over two weeks out but I think I'll really try it after the 1st month that's when I can start raw veggies so I think it will be safe then.

  5. I plan on having kids also. My gun and decided to do implanon. Its an implant in your arm but it is just progesterone unlike the more popular implant Norplant which is estrogen and progesterone. Its been shown to be very effective and can work up to 3 years but can also be removed at any time and you can get pregnant right away. Can't get it til next month cuz I'm only 2 weeks out. Check it out it seemed like the best option for less hormones effective absorption after surgery and never having a kid before.

  6. Is the g tube standard for your surgeon?

    Jess...Surgiversary 9/19/12

Yes it is, all has gastric bypass patient are required to have it for at least 4 weeks and he only removes it after you have proven you can get all your fluids and Protein in. I like that am going to have the security of it for the first month, so I dont have to worry about dehydration and not getting my Protein but it is going to be a very uncomfortable month.

  7. My surgery is on the 30th also and I know exactly how you feel. I was suppose to be on a pre op diet this whole month and I was doing great at the beginning but my 25th birthday was on the 16th and my 1st wedding anniversary was yesterday and I haven't been doing well. I'm praying it doesn't effect anything. My pre op is tomorrow and I am going to do shakes and 1 small meal up until surgery so I hope that make up for it. I'm sure your going to be fine. Good Luck with everything.
