Morning After Pill
Bawhahaha we went for some good old slow sweet vanilla, which with the pain was actually quite spicy I have no problem sharing my experiences, you never know who has been through what until you ask, and you never know what you can relate to until you hear someone else say it

Morning After Pill
thanks, i have always taken solace in the fact that it happened on canada day, the day we lost the baby we came home and my partner put our recliners on the balcony (15th floor) and we sat holding hands and watched the fireworks, it made me feel like we were able to Celebrate the possibility of life and this year we did the same thing, sat on the balcony and watched the fireworks for him and it made it feel less lonely and more significant. I am also able to rejoice in the fact that the next time we try for a child i will be in much better health and will be in a much better capacity to parent two children. it is all about self-care, which in turn helps promote a better family life <3

Morning After Pill
obviously call your doctor/surgeon/nurse ect first before deciding anything, but from what i gathered it is a small enough pill and should work just fine, take with food and lots of (sips) of water, also you may want to consider an iud, i have the copper iud (hormone free) and we use rubbers and even spermicidal foam when i am VERY paranoid, we have only *ahem* been intimate twice since surgery but are taking NO chances, of course as soon as I hit that 18-24 month mark all bets are off! I can't wait to start TRYING to get pregnant! we lost a baby a year ago (canada day) and it was a huge hit to both of us emotionally, but when we found out my surgery was coming up it helped ease that feeling of desperation and helped us look forward to the possibility of another child soon and far enough away from the miscarriage that we have both moved on with great success

Intense Results
I totally agree! My number one reason for doing this surgery was so I can properly take care if my daughter, she deserves so much better than I was able to give her before the surgery. Between fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome and the weight it just seemed like she was doomed because of my shortcomings! I just can't believe I have been strong enough this far, between the restrictions, the pain and sacrifices I just can't help but feel I have earned this little slice of happiness for me and my little family (besides, we are VERY much looking forward to spending time together as an active family!!)

Intense Results
I knew what to expect when I signed up for this, but I am still floored by the results I am seeing. My pharmacist commented on being able to see my neck for the first time, and my partner saw me in a dress I have had for awhile but commented on how good it looked on me today It is just crazy that this is actually happening! I still lie in bed some nights wondering of it will ever happen for me and all of a sudden it hits me...I AM doing it already!!

Dr. Raiche at Weight Management Clinic Civic Hospital- Day 2 Post Op
I am 8days post-op and still struggling to get enough fluids and protein, while the severe pain has eased up I am still VERY sore and move very slowly. I take a nap EVERYDAY around one and try to focus on water and walking every other hour (10 mins walking x4/day) it has made HUGE improvements on gas release and I get thirsty which encourages water intake- What Do U Miss The Most?
BACON! Root beer pizza and def late portions. That being said I DO feel better and I LOVE getting to wear new stylish clothes... So it evens out- Did Someone Experiwnced Eating Water Melon
Havn't had watermelon yet (one week post-op) but I find most things far too sweet also /- How Are You Losing 20-30 Pounds In A Couple Of Days?
@ryan I cannot say with utmost certainty why MOST people are put on liquids after rny, but I know the complications I faced during and after the rny made it imperative to have liquids (several feet of small intestine and several inches of bowel were removed during my procedure) plus it helps to keep you hydrated which is a huge concern at first...? @paul I am already drooling! I JUST got approved for puree diet today and picked up some baby food on the way home, potato broccoli & cheese casserole AND banana graham pie! SO EXCITED!! oh and i picked up some strawberry Protein supplement and was finally able to mix in some puree blueberries....HEAVEN!!- How Are You Losing 20-30 Pounds In A Couple Of Days?

That is what all the education I have received has said, as of day 30 I have lost 33lbs...we shall see what the next 60 shall prove (I am also adhering to the VERY strict meal and exercise planner provided by the weight loss clinic, in addition to ensuring FULL protein and water intake...)- 120Lbs Lost (But Not Missing Lol)
Thanks SO much everyone, it is hard to get words of praise or encouragement in my daily as I find many people are jealous or prejudice against wls, but I AM proud and I AM so glad to FINALLY be seeing results, and as soon as the surgery pain subsides I will be VERY HAPPY to (hopefully) suffer less of the symptoms of fibro and cfs!! IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT! SO WORK IT! YOU'RE WORTH IT!!- How Are You Losing 20-30 Pounds In A Couple Of Days?
I know I counted my 25lbs weight loss (from optifast 21 day liquid diet) as pre-op, but like someone else on here said, EVERY pound lost is a challenge accepted and won!! As it stands I am currently losing approx one pound a day (as is expected for the first 0-3 months)- Where Is Everyone From?

- Back Pain!?
Thanks everyone, it is exactly what y'all said, the way I am sitting during the day/sleeping flat all night. ...and/or gas lol Feeling a lot better today- Back Pain!?
Hi all, I am 5 days post-op and have been home for 3 days. I started having very bad back pain (almost like back labour) anyone have this too or know if it could be gas pain or surgery related? I did have several feet of intestine removed and several inches of bowel also removed....anyone got info/advice?!?!?- Off The Wagon At Only 7 Month!
While I am only 5 days post op all I can think is after having done this much hard work and going through this much pain you/your body deserve to be healthy once and for all! Indulgences can be a great motivator for staying ON the wagon, but if you have guilt afterwards that is a good sign of over indulgence! Did you keep any pre-surgery clothing? Or pictures? Take at good look at them an decide of the food is worth the risk of losing all that progress :/ Good luck! The strength is within you, just need to realize your potential!!!! - Where Is Everyone From?
