It can take up to week to 10 days to really start feeling the effects. You are still full of all the fluids they pumped you up with in the hospital. I promise give it another week and you will be in aw. Best wishes to you in this journey:-)
  3. I would personally call your surgeon. It is always better to be safe then sorry. Could be nothing could be something huge. When in doubt call the dr. Hope it goes away soon.

    Health Questions

You should call your doctor for sure. Lower legs hoping numb or getting that electric shock is not normal and it can be something mayor or very miner but better not to mess around with it. I have a slipped disk and they wanted to do surgery. Fortunately losing the weight is helping and dr says we will play it by ear and see how I am after the weight loss. So pls call ur dr.

    The Easy Way.......

Ask them if the go to they gym or if they run or exercise ect... This surgery is a tool we choose to utilize just like others use there tools to utilize for there bodies. And honestly what ever makes you happy is what matters most. I would just walk away

    Need Advice Please!

I have a 19, 10, 8, 6,& 4 year old. I was very honest with them and try to include them in everything. I told them that the surgery would help to lose weight so that I can be healthy and be around for a long time ( hopefully ) And I would be able to do more activities. They are my biggest support and encourages well and my hubby to. They always want to look at my scars. My 4 year old daughter said. Oh my mommy your scars are getting all better:-) then she said is that what's making you get smaller. Oh how I love my children. So my advice to you is be open and honest with them. I share in the journey with them.

    Thirsty

I hate that I still don't quiet get in all my fluids... But it seems like I am thirstiest when I am eating. Anybody else feel like that? It sucks when I have to weight half hour to hour to drink:-(
  15. I have weighed my self almost everyday since I started the entire process back in January. I have always felt that if I get on the scale it helps keep me accountable. What I have now realized is that I have become a slave to the scale. My only motivation was seeing those numbers go down. I finally had a nervous break down over it this week. I have decicided to no longer runt my life around the scale.... There is so much more to health then numbers on a scale. I have to determine in my mind that know matter what the numbers say I want to optimism maximum health. So for the first time in a very long time I will only be weighing my self once a week. That way I can focus on me as a whole and not just a number. I also fill that I will have more peace of mind.

    Not Losing Weight :(

I am 8 weeks out and as of Tuesday I was 32 pounds down. I do think to myself some days why is it not coming off faster :-( but then I think about all the loose skin I don't want sagging all over my body and am grateful that it is coming off steadily. I know eventually I will get there. remember surgery isn't a magic it's a tool to help train is for our future. So rejoice in the 35 pounds cause you are doing a fantastic job.....

    Feeling Uneasy

You won't have to give everything up. This surgery is a tool not a morocal worker but it teaches you how to retrain yourself to moderation instead of indolence. And it really is worth it in the long run. I hope the best for you.
