  3. I am in the process of finding something I love to do better than eating. I know it will be hard, but losing the weight and regaining my active lifestyle is so much more important than eating a huge meal. I know I can do it, with God's help.
  4. My Dr. Said your insides are not ready to work hard enough to digest raw veggies and fruit for 4 months. Let your stomach heal, then try the raw stuff.
  5. I, too had surgery last Monday week and I have not had any trouble eating or drinking. It also kind of makes me a little worried that I still want to eat.

  7. I was allowed eggs after a week. Wonderful. I even made egg salad with alittle fat free mayo and pickle relish (dill) yum!
  8. My Dr said no fresh uncooked fruit or veggies for at least a month. They make the stomach work too hard to digest and we ar still trying to heal.

  13. There is a stitch inside that hurts until it disolves, hopefully in a few weeks. My Dr gave me a girdle that really helps.
  14. Wow! I was on a clear liquid diet for a week then got to have protien shakes. So glad i get to start soft foods tomorrow.
  15. I am on my second week and I have not had any problems other than the stitch pain. Now that is a bugger! How long does it last before the stitch disolves, anyone? I do understand the thirst, dry all the time, more at night. No problem getting all the fluid in.
