  1. I, too had surgery last Monday week and I have not had any trouble eating or drinking. It also kind of makes me a little worried that I still want to eat.

  3. I was allowed eggs after a week. Wonderful. I even made egg salad with alittle fat free mayo and pickle relish (dill) yum!
  4. My Dr said no fresh uncooked fruit or veggies for at least a month. They make the stomach work too hard to digest and we ar still trying to heal.
  5. I didnt wear heels when I was skinny, too painful
  6. I think they ask just to make sure, double check.
  7. My hospital put the wrong gender on my chart, and they wpuld not touch me until it was corrected.
  8. It wraps around your waist and helps hold up your belly
  9. There is a stitch inside that hurts until it disolves, hopefully in a few weeks. My Dr gave me a girdle that really helps.
  10. Wow! I was on a clear liquid diet for a week then got to have protien shakes. So glad i get to start soft foods tomorrow.
  11. I am on my second week and I have not had any problems other than the stitch pain. Now that is a bugger! How long does it last before the stitch disolves, anyone? I do understand the thirst, dry all the time, more at night. No problem getting all the fluid in.
  12. Thank, it has been 4 days and hurts worse today than ever. It is really hard to move.
  13. I had mine Monday and feel great, except for the internal stitch in my side hurting when i syand up and move. Anyone else having this?
  14. I am having alot of pain with my inside stitch. Anyone know if it is ok to use heating pad?
  15. I start tomorrow. Dr said i should be good at 5 days.
  16. Just got my approval and surgery date, Monday! Wow, how lucky it was 30 days on the dot. Not much time to worry, thank goodness.
  17. I am pre surgery, just waiting for the go ahead from the powers that be in the insurance world. How about you?
  18. Waiting for the insurance. I am going to Dr Cavazos in San Antonio. I will be at the NorthEast baptist hospital. I am not a patient person, so ready to go ahead.
