  1. Ok I am able to get 40-50 oz down, now I couldn't do that until yesterday. Are you just full or is it a different issue like, makes u sick?? I'm hoping a veteran will chime in. I am concerned that you could get dehydrated.
  2. I had my surgery Monday as well. I also dealt with nausea right after. Nikki- how much are you able to get down? I've been able to drink really well the last 2 days.(almost makes me nervous that I'm not having a problem drinking at all)
  3. Maybe they just haven't received yet, if they just sent it Thursday. It depends if it was submitted by mail or electronically also as to how fast they receive it. Good luck to you!!!
  4. Ok I bought the unflavored unjury protein powder. I read where people put it in with their crystal light. I tried that this morning with orange crystal light and yuck! It still had a bad taste & the smell gets me. Also, I hate the foam after you shake it, that's yucky too.
  5. Hi, I am 40 and my surgery is August 27th. I don't have any advice or any thing to post about yet but I will definitely be joining in the conversation soon and reading all the posts it looks as if everyone is right on track.
  6. I do love garlic powder!! I really thought more people would have a suggestion on which flavorings are best in their shakes.
  7. I'm glad to finally see a couple of post on pco. I honestly thought there would be a lot more.
  8. Another pco victim here as well. I am hoping the weight loss will help. I don't see why it wouldn't, everything I've ever read or been told is there is no cure but the best treatment is weight loss.
  9. That sounds yummy!
  10. I am curious which flavoring people like the best or which is pretty accurate on taste. I'm also assuming that it's safe to use these anytime we want. Davinci sf syrup, Torini syrup or the Capella drops. I have also read where people put sf pudding in their shakes. ( do you just sprinkle a little bit of the powder mix into your shake).
  11. I'm confused... I thought the reason for no sodas was that the carbonation stretches your pouch and that's why it is a major no?!?
  12. My surgery is in 2 weeks and I had to pay mine in full today!
  13. I just made a shake with water from my fridge and isopure alpine punch and just blended it. It tastes yucky. I thought maybe it needed to be colder and put it in the fridge for 30 mins and that didn't help. I will probably always use water as I don't care for milk. My surgery date is Aug 27th and I start liquid diet on Monday and wanted to try a few things out. It could be that the Alpine punch from isopure is just yucky!!!
  14. Thanks for the info! There is just a lot to learn..
  15. Mine went well also. It didnt take long on the treadmill to reach my target heart rate and the girl laughed and said you are out of shape. I did get my results today and they were good. Just waiting for Aug 27th!!!
  16. Ok, I am really dumb when it comes to these protein shakes. I typically think of choc, strawberry, vanilla. I have read comments about using crystal light. I am confused.. I would really like some feed back on what kinds you use and how you make it. I am not a big milk drinker, however I am sure I can make myself drink it. I would prefer to mix it with water. I really feel dumb but I just need clarification. Also, in the powder when it list the protein amount (20g) is that if you mix with water or milk. Thanks guys and hopefully next time I can help out someone else with this topic!!!!
  17. I have my stress test Thursday & I am nervous also. I just don't want anything to push my surgery back. Talk about stressful!!
  18. Dave could you please email me a copy? Thank you for taking the time do this for everyone!!! bpbeadles@suddenlink.net
