I'm a possible November surgery! I'm just finishing Cpap for one month. See surgeon on October 26. I'm getting excited.

Okay so last night I lasted 4 hours. I'm getting there. It's hard when I'm used to tossing from side to side and really can't do that.

Okay so finally I get my machine. Only waited 1 month for it. I try it out last night and only made it an hour. I must have fallen asleep but woke up in a panic and had to get it off my face cuz I was having almost like a clostrophobic (sp) feeling. Anyone else have this happen?

My nutritionist said no yogurt with fruit. Plain yes! I eat them now pre op diet.

Can you believe I'm still waiting for my machine. I saw the doctor and the prescription was sent in. Doctor's office said at week 2.5, why haven't I got it yet. Gee you tell me. So now a home respiratory company called Monday and said can you call me to let me know if this is a new set up or existing. Like hello you have the f'n prescription. So now this is one month wasted that I now have to wait for machine and I still need to be on machine for one month before a surgery date is given. I'm so mad. Grrrr

Yes we can! Awesome job on the smoking thing. That in itself is hard enough to do but to add the surgery on top of it!!! you deserve a bravo!!!

Thanks. I know I can do this. I had to meet with surgeon on a Friday and crash dieted with shakes etc. on Monday through Thursday and I lost 7 pounds when she weighed me. Of course I gained it all back. Grrr. So back to square one. Thanks for the encouragement. I appreciate it.

It's need to vent as I feel as though I'm not going to go through with WLS. Let me back up. 3 years ago I went through all the testing for a lap band. I got all the way to preop hospital testing liquid diet and came down with a nasty cold. Anesthiologist said no surgery. So did I reschedule?? No. Did doctor's office call me to reschedule? No. So I never went back. Now I've got all my testing done for RNY and no surgery date yet. I need to lose 15 pounds prior to surgery. I don't have the motivation to get going on losing this 15 lbs. Am I pulling another Julia Roberts and tring to runaway again. During testing I was so psyched to get this done but now that it's so close, I'm dragging my butt. I hope someone else out there is going through this too!!! Nicole

I got results of sleep study and have sleep apnea. Need to pick up a machine! I guess it's going to help but apprehensive to say the least!!!

I know your dealing with your foot but my husband's doctor said for his knee issues, every pound lost is equal to 7 pounds of pressure off the knee and I would guess your foot too! So this WLS is exactly what you need. Good luck with your journey!!

Extended release capsule can be opened. Put the contents on applesauce and swallow. Be sure not to bite any of contents. This is what I did for my son's adderall xr when he couldn't swallow pill. Still worked fine for him.
