  1. I'm concerned to join the Facebook page as I'm not posting anything about surgery on my Facebook. Will any of my friends see what I'm doing? Perhaps I need to create another account for just us.
  2. Yesterday at lunch my husband had coke. It was too close to me and by accident I took a sip of it. I flipped out after i swallowed it. I have been off soda since July and now I'm craving diet coke. Damn!!!
  3. I ordered as well with no problems. Hmmm!
  4. I hear you. I'm not even going to my 25th high school reunion because of my appearance. Sad but I just can't.

  6. I too am worried about feeling okay for Christmas. My surgery is December 17th. I'm a school bus driver and took off week before Christmas and off the school vacation week. I also took off the first week of January if needed. Since we have a split shift driving I'm hoping I can get back after vacation. Otherwise I took that first week of January just in case. From what everyone is saying we should be okay enough for our kids at Christmas. Feel free to in box me if you want to chat.
  7. Glad he grounded you. You can't stress yourself out watching the 1% of crap that can happen. We go through testing for a reason. So if you follow doctor's requirements, than everything should be good. is there bumps in the road after surgery, possibly. But worrying doesn't help your recovery. Have faith and enjoy your new journey.
  8. Fireandice36: We are surgery buddies December 17!!!

  10. So sorry! Doctors know what's best even though you were mentally ready to go. It will happen and we are here too to help. Hugs!
  11. I got my approval Friday! Doesn't it feel so surreal now. Going through all the hoops was worth it but something about insurance approval and surgery date makes it final. Congrats!

  18. My daughter (10) thinks I'm going in and will come out skinny. She referred to the family guy episode of lyposuction which she isn't allowed to watch. I laughed so hard and explained that its not like that. Lol

  20. Had my appointment with surgeon. I'm complete with everything. she is submitting to insurance for approval. Now it seems so close and reality setting in. So excited but nervous. But with all of you guys, I will get through okay. Thanks.
  21. What about side by side pictures of before and now! That way you can compare the changes. There is an app called Instacollage that helps do this.
