Anyone know if I can take Benadryl during these 2 weeks pre op diet? It helps mee sleep. I forgot to ask my doctor.

I agree. I also think, there is no easy way. This surgery is tough. Many sacrifices and lots of will power. That takes a strong person. I'm still going to work out and eat less. I just need a jump start!

Hello! My name is Josie. I am new here and I'm finding this forum quite helpful. My surgery is set for August 14th. It's all going so fast. I guess because I'm a self pay. Can anyone tell me what is more painful, this surgery or giving birth? I just saw a YouTube video where the poor girl complained of excruciating pain. I instantly thought, oh no I must cancel:( However, I have already paid some of the fee. Bottom line, I'm scared as heck! I have never been hospitalized!

I'm scared also. It will be twice as hard for me, because I take a med that increases my appetite. However, I'm determined to get this weight off! I'm going to try my hardest. I'd like to keep myself busy because I eat more when I'm bored.

Awesome! I hope you get there! My wedding dress was size 6, but the sizes are different. I weighed 112 and my clothes was size 4. My wedding ring hasn't fit for about 10 years now. Forget a new ring, I want this surgery!

I'm a teacher, but my hubby has a good job. I told him it was my anniversary gift since the day of the operation is our 13th anniversary. It's costing $19,500.
