Yay! Congratulations to you. It's an amazing feeling and accomplishment. It's a lot of loops to jump through but they are all worth it! Congrats again!

My doctor never suggested a calorie limit either. 11g of Protein is great. I have an Excel spreadsheet that has almost 100 grocery store' date=' frozen, and fast food items that are all high in Protein (and I'm adding to it all the time). Forum rules don't allow me to post it but I'd be glad to email it to you if post your email address or PM it to me. I've sent it to dozens of folks here on the forum. One of the biggest (and best) surprises I've had following my RNY has been the number of delicious, high protein options there are out there!![/quote']Could you email me a list too? Me too! I think at this point anything would be amazing lol. It sucks but we are on our way to an amazing new life. At least we have each other to vent on lol. Have you tried eating sugar free popsicals? I think they can be a pain but at least it's something to bite into lol

I agree and you're not alone! Im 5 days post op and have to be on my liquid diet for 2 more weeks. It's so hard finding something to do that's not around food and that's physically ok! I went to a movie and just brought in my own Protein shake. not the same as popcorn but at least it's something hang in there! We are going to be so glad we stuck to it a month down the road!

I Only told my husband And Best friend at first. Once I got closer to a date I told a few more friends and my mom but that's it. I just feel like it's a private thing and no one at work or in a social setting need to know

Just recently had surgery.. My surgery was Monday the 23rd! I'm still in a little pain and can't wait for Saturday so I can drink my Protein shakes! My story is short but I just thought I would share my reason for surgery! I'm young, (24) and have had high blood pressure since I was 21. Diabetes runs in my family and I'm
Lucky enough to have never gotten it. However when I was 22 after being married for about 6 months I notice that I had gained way to much weight... I was up to 330. So, I decided it was finally time to do something so 2 years later here I am post-op! Before surgery I got down to 287, and Only a few days post op and Im at 179. I'm so glad I found this app to share my stories and listen to all of yours!

Did you or any of you deal with people who didn't support your decision for surgery? I have a few people in my life who chose to hate on my choice and my progress.. I ignore them but honestly it gets old! Any advice would be amazing!
