  1. Whatdo you mean where am I?
  2. No new date, no explanation. The psych they want me to see is on vacation until the end of September.
  3. Well honestly I'm not sure how I feel right now. My surgery was scheduled for next Thursday. I've been jumping through their hoops, lost over the 40% they wanted me to. Today I have my pre op appointment. They drew labs, prescribed all the thing I'm going to need to take afterwards, even talked to the anestesalogist. Just for the to tell me that the psych doesn't think I'm ready. I feel like I failed. I feel like I'm letting my husband and son down. I feel like this was my last chance. I just hope my work doesn't decide to be douches about the time I need off.
  4. Lol thanks but being 400+lbs it doesn't really seem to make much diffrent.
  5. September 6th. I've lost 50 lbs, but I know if I wasn't having the surgery it would just come back. Excited but super nervous. I just keep reminding my self why I'm doing this. To be a better healthier influence for my son.
  6. I don't have one yet. Was supposed to get it on Friday but the person that does the psych eval is in the hospital so I won't find out till the end of the month,
  7. Drs Ali and Pierce.
  8. How about cottage cheese chewed up really good?
  9. I was given the 4-6 week time frame too, from what I have heard that's good. I've heard it can take 6-12 months sometimes.
  10. Anyone have or will have their surgery there? That's where I am getting my surgery, was just curious about others experiences.
  11. At my highest I was 399. That was when I decided to do the surgery. I'm down to 349 now. Still waiting to schedule my surgery but I can't wait. They want me to loose 219.
  12. Both of my parents have had it and the said its totally worth it. They also used to have these get together where a bunch of people who had WLS would get together and swap clothes that were too big, recipes, ideas, story's. Anyway I've never heard it easy, but I've always heard its worth it if your willing to make the life style change.
  13. From what I've heard it's easier to get pregnant after the surgery.
  14. -37lbs now!! Only like 4 more until I'm down to where the dr wants me to be before the surgery. My scales gotta be broken . . . .
  15. I've been struggling with my weight for longer then I can remember. It seems like as soon as I made the decision to have surgery the weight is just melting off. 28lbs in two weeks!?! Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, I know if I wasn't having the surgery it would come right back but geez. I haven't even really changed my diet much, and am totally going through "last meal syndrome." the next couple months is definitely going to be a roller coaster.
  16. I am really hoping she's right. I had my gallbladder removed this last February. The Norcos didn't work for me and I was still in pain. They gave me some percaset (however you spell it) which knocked me out for a week and then felt great.
  17. I was thinking about participating in St. Bald ricks day next year . . . . . . Lol
  18. Lemme know how the fall fight works! Please
  19. I know loose skin is inevitable but is there anything I can do before or after surgery to help tighten my skin up a little?
  20. How much hair did you lose? Did you cut you hair? Before surgery or when it started thinning? My hair is super long and pretty thick, I'm kinda worried how bad it's going to be.
