Ok guys...since I feel so comfortable in this thread with you all...I just wanted to (continue) to vent. I need some good thoughts passed my way! Yesterday I had a pill cam endoscopy to view my small intestines. I had a colonscopy...and the biopsy came back negative for Crohn's, but with the pill cam, they are still checking to see if I have Crohn's. My surgeon said he will not do the bypass on January 15th if it's Crohn's, but he feels confident that it's not. I'm still scared though. I get my results Monday or some time mid-week the latest. Worst case if it was Crohn's, I'd have to resubmit to insurance everything and do the sleeve (which my insurance doesn't cover, but we could try).
So not only is it HARD doing the liquid diet, but it's also HARDER knowing it could all be for nothing if they do find Crohn's. I will keep all updated.
So surgery is a go for 1/15, but if it's Crohn's...it's off. PLEASE keep me in your prayers. I don't think it's that...but there's a small chance it could be.
Anyway, I'm day 5 on liquid diet and just trying to hang in there. I'll let you guys know of the results as soon as I know. Fingers crossed, please.
