  1. Howdy! We both have the same surgery date Did your surgeon put you on a pre-op diet? Do you feel mentally prepared for the surgery? I'm currently on a liquid pre-op diet. It's driving me insane but we have to do what we must in order to become healthy.
  2. I've been on this liquid pre op diet for 2 days now and I'm feeling a little lightheaded, headache and just blah! Has anyone else felt this way during their pre op diet? If so, what did you do? How did you manage? I have 6 days left before surgery. And I'm really trying to stick to this diet. Ugh Any tips, ideas, anything is welcomed and highly appreciated.
  3. You shouldn't be sad or ashamed. It happens. Just focus on the fact that you're taking the first step into a healthier lifestyle. Beating yourself up isn't going to change anything. But starting this journey with a goo attitude will..... Best of luck!!
  4. Good luck & I hope you have a speedy and healthy recovery. :-)
  5. My surgeon is the author of Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies. Highly recommended!
  6. Started my pre-op diet today and I must agree with just about everyone...THIS STINKS! It's not that I'm exactly hungry, but more like I'm not satisfied... Also, I've been so anxious and jittery. I just want the 17th to get here already. What were some activities that you guys have done during the week prior to surgery to make time go by faster? I'm currently off from work and have just been here doing nothing and just craving food.. Help!
  7. Woo hoo! I'm a newbie here. Congrats on your date! Mines is July 17th.
