I know what u mean. I'm still pre-op but I'm a food network junkie. The funny thing about it is I watch it when I'm hungry to stop me from eating. As weird as it sounds, it works for me lol and no, it doesn't hurt to watch if u know how to control urself.

Have u tried memory foam mattresses? I'm still pre-op but I've had back pain for years. Recently I purchased a king size memory foam from amazon for about $330 and the frame from ikea for around $200 and I've been pain free since!

Im still pre-op but I hope it changes after surgery. My ibs is getting worse. It's to the point that plain water triggers it :-( some days I'm afraid to eat and I won't even think about eating outside of my home. It's depressing as hell

The ride attendant wasn't really rude...just said that the bar couldnt lock nd I had to get off. At that point I hadn't been to an amusement park in about 11 years so I didn't know I couldn't fit, was a bit skeptical but decided to chance it :-( it wasn't really the fact that I couldn't fit...it was the laughter from every1 on the ride and it was so hard not to cry.

I know how you feel. I decided to do it when I took my son to Great Adventure's and was asked to get off the ride because the bar couldn't lock :-( it was the most embarrassing and lifechanging moment. That's when I knew I had to take my life back and start living and have FUN!!

My stress test went ok. The first one took about 2 mins b4 I reached the max heart rate. Then I was told I needed to have another stress test with a kinda dye injection due to my heart skipping beats during the initial stress test. The second one went absolutely great, even tho it took about 2 hours :-(

Congrats!! I cut back significantly but haven't fully quit :-( I kinda feel like its my only stress reliever and I never told anyone but I'm scared to quit cuz cigarettes are the only thing that keeps me sane, especially now since I'm watching what I eat.

I was totally baffled by this psych. His clothes were all wrinkled, his pants were hanging below his belt so I could see his underwear. He was sweaty and twitching. He ended up getting teary eyed and borderline angry cuz he had a family emergency. Kinda felt like he was the one that needed some type of therapy. Very odd experience indeed O_o

Seen the psych today and it was easier than I thought. Took about 30 mins and all he asked was general questions. Got my clearance letter and was back home an hour later. So cardiology is done, pulmonology is 1/2 done (need to get sleep study which is next week), psych done, nutritionist next week and gastro in 2 weeks. Just 2 more months of doc's visits every 2 weeks apart and I'll be submitting paperwork. On a bad note, blood work came back and as expected, low iron, vit D and doc wants me to take Glucophage :-( On a disgusting note, while at the psych, he kept picking his nose ewww, was all jittery & twitchy and tried to shake my hand when leaving (no thank you sir and where's the hand sanitizer?? Lol but I'm excited to share this with you guys since my significant other can care less. Have a nice weekend everyone!!
