Sounds just like me ! I did it all myself, even down to getting referral numbers from insurance ! I dealt with all the doctors and insurance and billing ! I had no help from my advocate ... I couldn't even tell you her name . It's quite sad ! I basically harassed them since last week and there probably fed up with lol that's why I got such an early surgery date because leaving it up to then would have caused me to wait til December !

I thought I was going to be the lucky one who had no pre-op diet BUT I was wrong . U have to do a 2 day clear liquid diet (surgery is this Thursday) and I have already lost 2 pounds in like one day . I have a horrible headache and I am grouchy ! Is this normal ?

GAG... I hate it. It's disgusting and just the thought of eating it makes me cringe ! I am so tired of Water and Popsicles and Jello. I want something salty (my weakness) and I can't find it :/ maybe I will like it after surgery but right now .. It sucks . I thought I was going to break down until I got on the scale this morning... WHEW HEW ! 4 lbs gone in 2 days ... Lol I should of been doing this all along !

Definitely ! Lol I didn't get nervous until about two weeks ago, and honestly, I'm just ready to get it over with and start full liquids lol !! Good luck and sending prayers your way !

Any time ! I have learned so far not to compare your weightloss to anyone else's. Age, weight, height, and bmi all play a factor ! You are doing amazing just by your clothes becoming bigger ... Lol you could be where I am and still pre-op and not being able to fit into ANY of my clothes. ! Keep the faith and keep pushing because 6 months from now, you'll be half way there ! Idk if it gets easier but from the postings from these amazing people , it gives me need to say it does . My surgery is on July 19 and I can't wait to be on the losers bench !
