  1. My total time will be les than 2 months. But my insurance only required a Psych and Nut eval.
  2. Sounds wonderful!! Do you live near that hospital and Dr?
  3. Do you eat on your pre-op diet. I went ahead and started mine. Hoping to lose a few extra pounds. Crazy I know. I started yesturday. I'm allowed to have 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. up to 3x a day sugar free jell-o, popsicles, pudding broth and no sugar added fudgsicles Any help would be great. I'm trying to get some kinda schedule. I also have a 2 1/2 and 6 year old. They have to eat everything I have. LOL
  4. Wow, that's so frustrating... Not sure what to do...
  5. Man that sucks. I hope they don't put off your surgery. I'm so thankful my surgeon doesn't test. I'm on the patch but I aloso use my e-cig. But I told them about it. Good luck hun...
  6. Very good!! When was your surgery?
  7. Congrats!! That's my date too... We're date buddies...LOL
  8. How come they don't do it all in one visit? Did you come to Pensacola or get one in PCB?
  9. I tried Chantix a long time ago. For me it was not good. I had bad nightmares which I have never had before. It gave me headaches and not to mention Ins didn't cover it. And it's really exspensive. ( I know cigs are too). I've been wearing the patch for about a month and using my e-cig. I find mine is more of a mental than a physical issue. I still smoke a cig once in awhile ( I know bad). I also know that my Dr doesn't do any nicotine testing.
  10. It will be less than 2 months for me as my Ins didn't kick in until July 1st.
  11. Wow, your Dr requires alot outside of what Ins wants. Why the colonoscopy? You're the first one I've seen that had to have one.
  12. To my knowledge most if not all Dr's require a psych eval per Ins. They want to make sure you know what you're doing. And check you for any signs of mental issues....
  13. Mine will be less than 2 months from initial consult to surgery. Good Luck!!
  14. WOW!! Extremely well said.. Great advice!!
