  1. Not with my butt so much as with my hips. I can be laying on a soft bed and if I turn my body a certain way my hip bones dig in and agh it hurts. I keep hurting my hip bones one way or another. Though now that I think about it I think I have experienced occasional tailbone pain too - the part where my legs meet my butt on the bottom

  2. The last picture is me now at 155...that was taken on 12/31/12. Thank you do much for the compliment!!!!

I even got lucky to where I've had no excessive skin...although a beast lift would be up my alley!!! Lol

Was it never loose or was and then shrunk back? Because I want to be 135-145 and it's already loose but I'm 21 so I hope it bounces back but :| I started at 276

  4. I've been reading about everyone having hormonal issues like anger and what have you due to the hormones being released from fat cells and I haven't had anything like that until now at 7 months post op. I'm always pissy and freak out on everyone and can't believe how mad i always am. I'm so on edge. I don't know why this is happening now when I only have another 20lbs or so to lose. When did this all happen for you guys?

  5. Anyone using these? Apparently they're super good for you and promote weight loss and give you tons of energy naturally. You can add them to any meal because they're so tiny and tasteless. I realized 4 hours after eating them I was exhausted and perked right up after another scoop. They're pretty awesome if you ask me

  6. I can't find that other awesome post u out on here w all the choices. Would u post em again or message me some options? I am scared to go right now but I dream of my caramel macchiatos

I'm going to be honest... Caramel macchiatos aren't really an option anymore unless you're going to be really bad because you can't replace the caramel sauce with anything sugar free and it's super bad for yo and there's so much milk which is a lot of carbs and sugar. Honestly it's not a good option anymore.

Anyways all you need to know is we have sugar free vanilla, mocha, hazelnut, caramel and cinnamon dolce. If you're one of the people who can stomach milk post op (I'm not) then you could get whatever you want with those like a latte or what have you.

I drink a lot of their hot teas and inches teas and if you're willing to have the extra calories any of the iced teas with lemonade is delicious.

The refreshers aren't that horrible for you..

The key is to make sure what you're getting is sugar free which a barista will help you with.

  7. So Starbucks came out with a new oatmeal along with a new topping... and I think the topping is a great little snack if you're starving and need something so you don't drop dead. Best part is I'm pretty sure if you just asked for the little topping bag that they won't charge you for it, and if they did it would be 50cents at MOST. By no means a meal, being only .56 oz, but great while in a pinch. Thought I'd share.

  8. What are some of the best rice for us to consume? Thanks

There is nothing nutritionally valuable in rice. Just carbs and fat. You really shouldn't be eating rice period.

  9. Hi' date=' I had my revision from lap band to gastric bypass 8 weeks ago and so far I'm down 25lbs but, I've hit a stall AND I never really feel full!! I don't dump, nothing makeshift sick and although I should consider myself blessed- I wish I would dump so that I could stay away from the bad habits/choices that got me here. Anybody out there like me? How do you control your eating? For example: I can eat 8 pieces of sushi without any problem where a friend of mine who also had this done can only do two max!!! What's wrong with me??[/quote']

When you have the rny gastric bypass it takes time for all your nerve endings to reattach themselves and start working again, so you'll find that you can eat more in the beginning and less eventually. Happened to me about 3 months out or so. You really need to measure your food to avoid getting too much food in.

Everyone dumps on different things. Are you eating stuff that should absolutely make you dump like ice cream etc? My brother (6 years post op) can't look at Peanut Butter without dumping whereas I can without issue

  10. Yeah well I'm not sure yet but I miss my period I'm almost 4 months post opp :-(

Uh I'd get a pregnancy test my dear. If you had PCOS that could explain it, I went 10 months without a period. But seriously go check, you can get a pregnancy test for 1 dollar at the dollartree

  11. Lol I should have worded it different I ment does it raise your chances

I figured that's what you meant I was just busting chops lol. I have been told by my RN that the first 3 months post op women are insanely fertile. Many of us have PCOS which improves with weight loss and any sort of weight loss regardless of having PCOS will help your chances of conceiving because you'll be healthier. So, in short, yes.

  12. It's sad that people say all this stupid stuff. I didn't realize how overweight people get treated differently. I have lost 80 lbs and it pisses me off how strangers are so much friendlier to me. They make eye contact too. Kind of off-topic but I was looking for a place to vent.

Can I just say that before surgery I was lucky to get a guy to give me the time of day and now guys (ones I already knew and new ones) are flocking to me? Granted, it's sort of awesome, but regardless it's bullshit and is upsetting on so many levels.

Though I'm a total hypocrite because I have never been attracted to overweight people, honestly. I've never dated an overweight person even at my heaviest, always thin thin thin guys.

You can't blame people entirely... Nature makes us more attracted to the healthiest mate for breeding... After all we are animals... And obese is not good for breeding.

    Sucks.
