THEN I DEFINITELY WILL NOT CHEAT. I FELT BAD TODAY THAT I EVEN FELT SICK TO MY STOMACH.... I FELT SO FULL AND I KNOW I DIDN'T PACE MYSELF .... I FOR SURE WILL STICK TO THESE 3DAYS OF PURE LIQUIDS I REALLY WANT MY SURGERY AND RECOVERY TO GO SMOOTHLY... WHAT KIND OF SURGERY DID YOU HAVE? THIS THURS. MY SURGERY WILL BE THE LAPROSCOPIC RNY.... THE DAY BEFORE MY SURGERY I SWITCH TO ONLY CLEAR LIQUIDS BROTH AND JELLO NO MILK OR SHAKES....

The good thing is I don't have a scale...for the same reason I don't wanna get disappointed. I work at a clinic full time and even tho I have access to the scale I avoid it. Thank you so much for your advice! Take care:)

My husband was the same way...we don't have any children yet due to my obesity. He said he would love me either way....he mentioned "I met you chunky and I love you that way" After going to support groups and seminars with me and knowing that my weight was the reason we couldn't conceive he has been very supportive. He sees me at times whine and suffer because I can't eat real food but sticks by me every time.I just know he will be the same way your husband is with you now... Hope you have a speedy recovery. Yes thank you so much... I must admit tho yesterday for the first time ever I tried to cheat I picked at a little piece of chicken but I very much regretted it instantly.... I got very sick to my stomach once I chewed it... I got nausea and ended up vomiting. I confessed to my Dr today and she told me I had that reaction because my stomach hadn't had food in days... Doing so upset my stomach. My appetite she mentioned has changed... I'm dying to find out how life after surgery will be.....

Hello, last Monday June 4th I set my surgery date...its scheduled for next Thurs the 21st:) preop is 2morrow morning! Since Sunday of this week have been on the HIGH PROTEIN LIQUID DIET!!

When was your surgery? You look awesome:) I can't wait for mine on the 21st!!

I think you should start a new school year fresh:) you will be making better and healthier choices which will allow you stay focused and concentrate on your schooling.... When is your last appt with pcp? I was told when I got approved surgery wait time was 3-4 weeks... I met with surgeon last Monday the 4th and he wanted to do my surgery today! But I decided next Thurs the 21st:) I'm not sure how much time you will spend or need for recovery but being that its summer months you can benefit more...waiting till December can be difficult with trying to control weight or even exercising especially if you live in a snowy state like I do here in Minnesota:) Hope this helps and good luck:)

I started my appts back in March of this year:) when I WENT to the psyc. Appt it took about 2hrs...we talked about history in regards to family and medical problems, eating habits, any depression..etc. Then I took an hr long computer test that asked me questions about me.. most questions were the same and repeated but worded differently. It is suppose to help identify certain psychological flags. After that my appts were with the clinical nurse, the dietician, and the bariatrician and her nurse.... Had more dietician appts here and there. It wasn't until I was approved did they set up my appt. With the surgeon which was last Monday June 4.... We talked about my procedure and picked my surgery date...its next Thursday June 21! I'm so excited and can't wait for this journey to begin... I wish you the best of luck:)
