  2. i just had surgery on 8/22 but i can say this i don't regret the choice i made to have the surgery at all is it easy NO not at all it is a lifestyle change i didn't have great support in the beginning from a couple friends i told about it because they thought it was a easy way out my wife was just scared for me because it was surgery..All in all i would rather sacrifice those friends the sacrifice my health any longer
  3. My surgery was the 22nd I'm on full liquids for two weeks but seems I can't drink much I'm to full not even thinking about food they were cooking dinner today had to stay in my bedroom cause the smell of chicken was turning my stomache

  5. i knew about the stinky part but the really dark bothered me almost looked black but seems to be turning dark brown so may be just what needs to clean out of my system thanks
  6. Ok so i started bowel movement yesterday but they are really dark and stinky is this normal in the beginning ?
  7. i was told 4 weeks on crushed pills then i can take them whole

  9. Also had wls on aug 22 def not getting in a lot of fluids yet I sip all day but not getting 64 oz in maybe half that I always feel full
  10. welcome newcomers its a good group here lots of good info all i can say is i'm finally on the post-op side i am 3 days out had surgery on 8/22 doing well but have absolutly no appetite trying to drink as much as possible but even that is tough well worth the journey im headed down ...

  12. going home today pain has been very tolorable mostly just gas pain had to stay a extra night because i want able to tinkle but all is good looking forward to my own bed

  14. yeah i went pee will leave hospital in the morning so happy to be a loser lol
  15. Well another night at the hospital hope u can pee if not tomorrow they will catherder my again and that hurts
  16. I'm about 10 hrs since it came out they just gave me some meds to try and help It
  17. Yeah I'm doing good pain is not bad but haven't been able to pee on my own so not sure they will let me go home today if I don't but doing great

  19. Welcome I had my surgery yesterday feeling pretty good hope to go home tonight
  20. Surgery was this morning everything went well have been for a couple of walks which helped with the gas feeling pretty well
