Chris, Good luck on your surgery. I'm 7 months out and have lost 220 lbs. it was the greatest decision I've ever made! I'll have you in my thoughts.

For the first time since surgery the needle didn't move. 244 lbs! This doesn't happen to me! There is always next week till then keep you unit on ya! -

every friday, i have been doing a weigh in on a bypass forum. i certainly knew i was going to be skinnier than when i graduated high school. i never knew when i was going to make that goal. well this past friday i did it. 244 lbs 2 pounds less than the day a graduated.

Welcome waterman Glad that you joined this great forum man. I'm 33 and dating a great girl. diabetic 2, high bp, cholesterol. I'm 7 months post-op. and 220 lbs lost! The women out number the men, no lie. Like 3-1 maybe more. Your absolutely right the men have a lot of catching up to do. Having you and your wife doing this together is incredible. Hey people's, Not sure why I did do great this week I was telling summer I could feel great numbers this week! Last week 259.5 This week 244.5 15 lbs! -
I was hospitalized in 2008 for emergency surgery. They checked my sugars only to find they were 455! I was on an insulin drip in icu for 5 days. The day of my bypass my A-1C was 13.5 ! At my 3 month check it was 8.5 At my 6 month check it was 4.8 That's normal non diabetic adult range! I was taken off all my diabetic meds including insulin. The surgery has done its job! For me that is. I'm going to see my primary at my one yr check up. If its still in this range I'm diabetes free!

Lots of anger and frustration this morning! I'm so sick of bitches! And Hippocrates! I thought a nice walk would do the trick and 3 f'n miles later I'm angrier than ever! I don't normally do this but "FUCK!!!"(( screaming ))
