  3. I have my third Mirena in now and I love them! Nothing to remember, nothing to feel, no worries for my boyfriend and I.
  4. I'm one year Post OP and anything carbonated makes me uncomfortable.
  5. I am all signed up and on track to do it this September! I'm so excited to feel the difference now that I have lost 100lbs
  6. I am one year post OP as of 6/5/13 and slowly over the last week or so I have been having increasing difficulties with solid food. When I take even a bite now, I have pain like it is stuck. I can tolerate all liquids and applesauce with no problems. As long as I am not swallowing anything I have to chew, I feel fine. Anyone else ever go through this? Suggestions?
  7. I'm so glad you asked this question! I'm 5'11 and my doctor did not give me a goal weight either. He simply said I would level out at the weight my body needed to be at. I am just over one year post OP and I am down to 208lbs. I'd like to be about 180lbs I think.

  10. I was sleeping on my stomach after five days. I was very gentle when it came to rolling over but I couldn't help it, I would roll over in my sleep.
  11. I have lost 80lbs so far but no feet shrinkage yet. Thathas always been the one part of my body that is thin though. I would love to go down even one size. I am a 12 and finding shoes is so hard!

  17. I was on the emotional rollercoaster at first as well. It tapered off over the first couple of Weeks and really disappeared when I was able to start eating something I had to chew. Between the meds, the shock to your body and brain, and the hormones, it can be overwhelming. Take a few min quiet time for yourself to cry or whatever and let it out. It will pass and as you heal and start shrinking, you will have lots of reasons to smile. Sent from my VS920 4G using RNYTalk
  18. I have made it almost to 70lbs gone and sometimes I still don't see it. I feel amazing though!! I feel my best when I am eating clean. The difference between pre and post op is truly amazing! Sent from my VS920 4G using RNYTalk

  20. It really seems to depend on your surgeon. Some are very strict, no carbs sugar etc. Some surgeons, mine included, have very few if any restrictions. I had three weeks of full liquids after surgery and then I was given the ok to stay trying things. At this point, 4 1/2 months out, I can have anything I like in moderation. I have to make sure I get between 40 and 60 grams of Protein per day and he recommended I eat five small meals per day, between 1/2 and 1 cup at a time. I can have have bread, but more than one bite and I don't feel so hot so I avoid it. I have to say it's all worth it though, I'm down 69 lbs so far and I feel amazing! 21. I like the Adkins Dark chocolate premade shakes. Before surgery I loved everything Vanilla but now it makes me want to vomit just imagining the taste. The premade Protein drinks are way better than the powder, and they are easier to grab as I am running out the door. I lean towards Protein Bars more often though. I keep them in my purse and desk at work just in case. Mini Luna bars are my favorite. Sent from my VS920 4G using RNYTalk
