  1. I did the Zombie run a week before my surgery- in Amsbury MA. And I scanned the crowd and I was the biggest chubbiest person there.. I was slow- and made my friends go on without me. But I finished it. I can't wait to do it again next year- hopefully 100lbs lighter!! I just want to fit On roller coasters with my son.. And travel without needing an extra seatbelt extender on airplanes!!
  2. 2 weeks post op tomorrow- been feeling great- until today. Horrible pain in my stomach- ended up in ER- and DR said I overdid it and maybe popped a few interal stitches! Anybody do this? How long until you felt better?? Can't move!!!
  3. My DR said same thing.. No surgery if I was still smoking.. And now to even stay away from 2nd hand smoke.. All can cause painful dangerous ulcers for your new pouch.. Sorry..
  4. Hi- almost 2 weeks post op- down 19 pounds- but getting real sick of protein shakes. Can't move to stage 4 until Tuesday. I think then I can have puréed chicken, fat free refried beans, and other stuff.. Any good mushy foods you can recommend??? Thanks all!!!
  5. I am 6 days out- and started a weird bumpy Itchy rash on my torso.. Any ideas?? Didn't add anything new to my diet..
  6. I'm 6 days out and still use the pain meds. The gurgling and gas pains have gotten a little better- but the incisions are still tight and sore. Bending down is bad.. It's hard with a 2 year old!!
  7. Hi. Surgery was 6 days ago- and I'm still needing pain meds regularly. Is that normal? Also- incisions are getting itchy- normal? Thanks!!
  8. Hi- less than a week since my surgery- I know I'm doing 3 shakes a day- and can have one snack- any good ideas out there? Someone mentioned 'cheese chips/crisps'.. Something a little crunchy.. Thanks!!!
  9. Things went well!! Anyone know of a helpful app to track protien- liquids- vitamins- and meds??? Thanks all!!
