I did the Zombie run a week before my surgery- in Amsbury MA. And I scanned the crowd and I was the biggest chubbiest person there.. I was slow- and made my friends go on without me. But I finished it. I can't wait to do it again next year- hopefully 100lbs lighter!! I just want to fit
On roller coasters with my son.. And travel without needing an extra seatbelt extender on airplanes!!
2 weeks post op tomorrow- been feeling great- until today. Horrible pain in my stomach- ended up in ER- and DR said I overdid it and maybe popped a few interal stitches! Anybody do this? How long until you felt better?? Can't move!!!
My DR said same thing.. No surgery if I was still smoking.. And now to even stay away from 2nd hand smoke.. All can cause painful dangerous ulcers for your new pouch.. Sorry..
Hi- almost 2 weeks post op- down 19 pounds- but getting real sick of protein shakes. Can't move to stage 4 until Tuesday. I think then I can have puréed chicken, fat free refried beans, and other stuff.. Any good mushy foods you can recommend??? Thanks all!!!
I'm 6 days out and still use the pain meds. The gurgling and gas pains have gotten a little better- but the incisions are still tight and sore. Bending down is bad.. It's hard with a 2 year old!!
Hi- less than a week since my surgery- I know I'm doing 3 shakes a day- and can have one snack- any good ideas out there? Someone mentioned 'cheese chips/crisps'.. Something a little crunchy.. Thanks!!!
