  1. I'm so excited!! For my fifty pound loss I went on a hike in the mountains, about an hour total up and down . For my 100 pound loss I also went on a hike in the mountains!!

What a miracle day! We went hiking in the mountains. The hardest hike I've ever done in my life. Up 1300 feet and 4 1/2 hrs long (7 miles). This was up and down then up again. This was climbing tons of stairs that aren't easy like normal stairs and up the mountain over rocks and crawling in small places in a cave!! Ill post pics where you can see those steps behind my son, thise weren't the worst ones!! It was crazy climbing over rocks and up and down steps as high as my knees and so steep you had to hold a handrail or you would fall back!!

I never ever could have done this before and my body would have gotten stuck in some of the places I went today. I kept saying wow I can't believe this. I'm actually doing this and only got tired near the end because I had on the wrong shoes so feet were hurting from stepping in rocks and neck hurt from looking down to try to avoid rocks. Lol. I felt so strong and awesome!! YAY what a blessing!! Maybe now this month long up and down stall will break!

I did suck at dinner. We had frozen yogurt so that was dinner for me. But the rest of the day was fruit and such, Protein sooo low though but that's so rare I'm celebrating the hike not the bad food choice. Lol

  2. I just thought I would share that I made a list on a thread here somewhere and I can do so many of the things in my list- its only been 6 1/2 months since surgery and 100 pounds gone. I now sit with legs crossed always or even tucked up under me or on the dash board etc! I am considering going on a horse - never could due to weight. Going to get my bike fixed and know i can ride it without people looking at me funny. Going to universal studios soon, just waiting for time off from work and warmer weather. I still don't feel good in lingerie but hopefully soon!! Still have so much weight in my stomach and my boobs are flat. Rofl. Will need a support type lingerie but let's just say hubby doesn't care anyway. I'm still working on confidence in the bedroom. I can find clothes in any store (except lane Bryant and Catherine's . Lol. Darn it) not all look great because of the stomach but eventually.... My confidence when I walk amongst people is high and I get compliments almost every day!

Anyway just wanted to say my list is getting checked off and in such a short amount of time- amazing!!! Your lists will all be the same just keep up the hard work and commitment. I don't like the saggy skin (arms, chin, belly and boobs) and the wrinkles but so much better than fat!

Good luck people. Enjoy this ride its awesome

  3. The first three pics were taken this week as I hit the 100 pounds gone. The last two were take before surgery. The full body one was taken the morning of surgery. Still have weight to lose and these pictures aren't the greatest but dang I feel so much prettier and healthier!!

Pre surgery weight 261.4. Size 24-26 (previously gotten to 279 size 28 the year earlier)

    Now 161. Still size 14

Goal is minimum 140-145 - but hoping for 130-135.

  4. Yay!! Got on the scales this afternoon and saw that I was down past 100 lost!!

Starting weight 261.4. and today scale showed me at 161. That's a loss of 100.4 in a little over 6 1/2 months!! 16 pounds to original goal weight!

Keep in mind that's with eating junk and more junk all this past week and little exercise the past few weeks!! January 2 I will get back on track

  5. I stopped differentiating between pre and post op weightloss a few months ago. Seriously it's all weightloss and one is no important than the other. When people ask about my weightloss i used tell both, then i realized how silly it sounded to them so i just stopped. Don't need to worry about the small stuff instead focus on the bigger picture of total pounds lost. Much more amazing. I lost 10 plus pounds the week before surgery (honestly can't remember now) and 85 after but the total of 95 still stands. Whooohoooo Congrats on starting your journey!! Keep up the good work

  6. Ok' date=' I'm jumping in also..

I am 3 weeks post-op Laproscopic / 18 days post-op Revision. Follow that? Obviously I had troubles. One out of a million? Yep, I got the lotto ticket & had to have issues!

Anyway, my beginning wt prior to surgery was 223#. I am only 5'0".

Today I weighed in at 189.5. OMG!! 33 # down, and I'm still recuperating -got the ok for walking, but haven't done much.. Low BP keeps me tired & lightheaded. Plus I came home from the hospital with double pneumonia. Walking @ home, keeping busy, still guarding my belly from anything that moves.

    I haven't been 189.5 since I don't know how long!!

Watching the weight just melt off (literally!) blows my mind. A pair of jeans I bought years ago have not fit me practically since I bought them! Today I found them, tried them on... Slick! Like they were made for me!

Anyone else just baffled at the pounds melting??

Heck yes!!! My surgery was 6/7/12 and today I'm down 95 pounds! Good crap that's in just 6 months and sometimes I can't wrap my mind around how much weight that actually is. Doctor assured me that it will start slowing down now- but I still worry it won't. Rofl. Don't get me wrong I don't want it to slow down until i reach my goal. Never thought I would be worried about losing too much. I still want to lose at least to 140-145. I weighed 166.4 today so that's only 21-26 pounds to go. I've been blessed with barely any issues - just Constipation and light headedness. It's sure crazy
