  1. I wonder if there has been any body builders post surgery. I don't want to get all competitor status but I want nice arms and chest and a six pack wot hurt either hahaha. Is it harder for us to build up the muscle like that?
  2. Daaaang girl you got the sexy hair and all. Looking nice!
  3. Vamp, you know it! I am loving myself everyday Something I wasn't use to doing. I use to hate my reflection. Now I can't get enough mirrors around me. Lol
  4. Thank you Vamp! You are doing great and looking nice also!
  5. Me this beautiful morning in so. Cal.
  6. Thank you! I do cardio almost every day. I started doing lite weights for my arms and chest but that's it. Not getting crazy on weight lifting yet since I'm about six weeks out still.
  7. Great job on success. Your body will slow down. I was losing 3-5 pounds in a day in the first few weeks. Then had days I lost nothing. Now I excersize 4-6 times a week and I have steadily lost a pound a day. Somedays nothing is lost and that is ok. You want to give your body the time it needs. Plus the slower you lose the more time you give your skin to adjust. Keep up good work.
  8. This was me today.
  9. Yay you can do it!!!
  10. Vamp there are days that I don't lose anything or that I even feel bloated. I finally am learning my body. I realized that since surgery I don't go poo every day like I use to. I go every other day now. So sometimes I get on and I gain a pound or didn't lose anything then a few days later after I went poo all day then next morning I weigh in and lose like four pounds. So don't get discouraged. Maybe your like me and the bowels get backed up a bit.
  11. That is awesome vamp!!! It is such a nice feeling to see results for once. Im trying to get to 210 and I'm about 282 at the moment. My surgeon suggest I get to 220. But I want to try 210. Something I was back in like ninth grade lol but if I look hot at 220 or around that then I'm good with that.
  12. Thank you guys for the encouragement and support
  13. Well I hope it goes away soon. I just wasn't sure if I was over-doing Vitamins or Protein.
  14. I have been hitting the gym hard and I am 9lbs away from reaching the half way point to my weight loss goal. Tuesday I will start my six week out from surgery. I started at 335 and I'm at 282. Everyone is saying how amazing I look. I'm even getting compliments from the guys at work. They are attorneys and usually are jerks and only care about themselves. So for them to say something nice is like wow. I'm getting so much positive attention and I am not use to it. Hehe I hope to reach 270 by the end of week eight!
  15. Okay so ever since I started my Vitamins and other supplements I have broken out twice on my right cheek on my face. I have never had acne or pimple issues in my life. I always get compliments on my skin and ever since surgery this started to happen. Could it be too much of something that I am taking that is causing this? Has anyone else had any reactions like this? I've been putting some ointment on it and it seems to be helping out a bit. Just sucks that this keeps happening.
  16. Well I created this thread because there was about a week or so a few weeks out from surgery that I was a bit limp. I didnt have any desire for any action either. I asked my surgeon if that was normal and he said that it happens with the anesthesia sometimes and that it takes a bit for it to get out of your system completely. Thankfully I am good now and actually even better then in my teen years.
  17. Well I am Hispanic so what I did is make a pot of beans. I didn't do canned. So I would add more of the liquid to make them less thick.
  18. Your not suppose to have protein till about three four weeks out. That's what my surgeons office told me. You don't want to put too much in pouch since it is still healing for the first six to eight weeks post surgery.
  19. This is me a month out. About 40-45 lbs down. The top is month out the bottom day of surgery.
  20. My doctor has us do 100 grams of Protein a day. 50 with food and 50 with supplements. Can I also get a copy of list please Kingvalens@gmail.com
  21. I think you need to educate him on exactly what wls is and the reason you need it. Take him with you on your appt or support groups. Everyone said the same thing to me. Now that I'm 50lbs+ lost, now people see the difference in me and understand that I was heavy and needed the assistance. Best of luck.
  22. John you will do great and everything will come out awesome
