  1. Hi! I'm almost 16 months out from surgery. I did great for the first 10 months but, after that, my weight loss came to a screeching hault!!!! I have not gained, which is great too but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
  2. That's awful!! I'm sorry to hear that! People are just so close minded!
  3. After surgery I was in a lot of pain, I couldn't sleep in my bed for the first 3-4 weeks (could only bare the couch) because my back was killing me and whenever I tried to sleep on my side, it felt as though all my intestines were detached, and felt like rocks just swooshing side to side as I moved to find a comfortable position. It was an awful/weird/painful feeling but it did get better. You just had major surgery, everyone handles it differently but you do have to allow yourself that time to recover. It stinks, but before you know it, you will be feeling great too!!

  12. Thank you! It did go by very quickly! I remember at first when I was recovering and just starting to eat, the days were so long!! But now I'm basically back to normal, except the portions I eat are still small, of coarse!
  13. Im 5'6" started off at 285 and had my surgery on 5/18/2011. 2 days will be my year and I'm currently 173! It is a long road with ups and downs, but it was all worth it! I feel great!
  14. Does anyone ever post before and after pictures on here?
  15. It will get better! Trust me! And it will all be worth it!!!!
