  1. Well i got bad news today.... Aetna will not cover any bariatric surgery for me. Apparently it's an exemption from my insurance plan. When I logged into their website online it said they covered gastric bypass. I am so disappointed!! I went through all of these steps just for them to say no!
  2. I am curious... Did most of you get approved for surgery easily or did you have a lot of hoops to jump through? I meet the criteria and have tried many weight loss programs. I also have a letter of referral from my primary doctor. I know all insurance is different but I'm curious on what most people experience. I have Aetna for medical.
  3. I'm worried what I will look like. Mostly I am worried my skin will be saggy and I'll look old!!
  4. It's hard, but try not to listen! I've chosen to only tell a few people for the same reason. Unless they are in your situation, they don't understand. And as long as you feel it's right for you, that's all that matters!
