And the other picture is from today.

The top photo is the day before my surgery 4-30
The bottom photo is yesterday. 2 weeks post-op.
I know it's just a small change, you may not even be able to see it. I can though! :-)
It's really encouraging to me and I just wanted to share with someone!

Do you still have your gall bladder? I had mine out years ago but that's what the attacks felt like to me. Definitely go see your doctor. You don't want to mess around when you have any pain in your chest area.

Jen in SoCal got a reaction from TinyMamiOf3kids in butt pain
My butt always hurts! I went to see a movie the other day and was in agony by the time it was over. I literally have no azz now! I can feel my tailbone so easily. Needless to say, my husband is in mourning

Jen in SoCal got a reaction from nienie in Length of time off of work?
If you can take the six weeks, do it. It will not only give you time to heal but also much needed time to adjust to your lifestyle change.

Jen in SoCal got a reaction from zuzuspetals in I've reached my goal!
Ill be honest and say that i've gotten lazy lately. I was walking 2 1/2 miles 4 or 5 days a week but the weather hasn't been so beautiful so I've been substitutung the gym. The problem is I only get there once or twice a week and too much time on the elipticle and not enough strength training.
My husband, I can say that now because I got married two weeks ago, is complaining that I'm too skinny. LOL
I think he liiked me better fat!
No matter, I did this for me, not him

Jen in SoCal got a reaction from perezhe1 in I've reached my goal!
As of today I've lost 99 pounds and reached my goal weight of 135.
I had my surgery 8 1/2 months ago.
This is still like a dream to me.
I've still got a way to go fitness-wise.
Now I'm thinking about saving for plastic surgery.
After 3 c-sections and having my last child at the age of 40 my tummy just looks gross.
On a brighter note today I bought an impossibly small looking (and incredibly stretchy) pair of size 4 pants!!
