I had surgery one month ago tomorrow and I've lost about 30 lbs

I just started trying to eat crackers and I didn't like that feeling. I also ate 5 multi grain Pringles and that was ok

My scale is so bi-polar! I will however give it a shot

I like the fit&active strawberry banana and idk if you have an Aldi in your area but they have a brand called happy farms or something like that and its lowfat and they have several different flavors. I picked up a whipped chocolate mousse yesterday but I haven't tried it yet. When was your surgery?

Bonnie, How old are you? Once the weight comes off our bodies become very fertile so I'm sure you will be able to successfully carry a baby

Lol I see why they called you a light weight. I'm 5'9" and my highest weight was 429. I was 403 the day of surgery and I'm 375 now....can't weight to get out of the 300's altogether

Kim if you don't mind me asking, what was your highest weight? How tall are you?

I am. I ate some mashed potatoes and gravy last night and it stayed down and I'm going to try some oatmeal this morning. I haven't thrown up once since having the procedure on Friday

I'm 4 weeks post op and haven't been able to keep anything besides liquids down. No protein shakes pureed foods yogurt jello pudding applesauce-NOTHING! I came to the emergency room and they've admitted me! I'll have an endoscopy in the morning.

I felt bloated for about a week maybe even a week and a half and you're right it does hurt

Stay positive. I'm not saying its a cure all. Its been less than 24 hours but I just feel a lot better than I have in a long time

Congratulations....I am 4 weeks post op....this is such and exciting time in our lives. I'm looking forward to seeing your transformation!

I had the endoscopy this morning and they said I had some stricture. They said scar tissue had formed around the opening of my pouch restricting my food intake but allowing fluids to pass through. They said the opening was really small. I have to have the procedure done again next week but honestly this is the most comfortable I've felt since before surgery. I even at 3 bites of mashed potatoes without feeling sick or like something was caught in my throat

A stricture is exactly what they said...They expanded it a bit...They said it was surrounded by scar tissue. I have to get it done once more in about a week. I'm spending on more night in the hospital to see how I tolerate soft food. I hope this resolves my issue
