  1. Have you tried switching up what you are eating. That being said what are you eating. Have you spoke to your Dr. about this? I would not want to take a laxative all the time either so I understand the concern. Also what about Vitamins are you taking those as well?
I have not talked to the Dr. I am eating Protein Shake for Breakfast GNC lean. Lean Protein the rest of the day have had a few veggies but I am having to focus on protein and Water to meet my requirements. Taking vitamins my Dr recommended added fiber gummies last week but I am going to try the suggestions further down the page also.

  2. I had a friend come over today. I told her I made granola last night with my son... She said to me "should you be eating that" 0_o f**k I said we made it' date=' I didn't say I sat down and ate the platter afterwards... Ok better now, well, I'm still somewhat pissy but better.[/quote'] This thread makes me realize how lucky I am. I have a friend that is 14 months post op, 3 of us, where I work 3 of us have been sleeved this year with one more starting the process now. I am blessed.

  3. I found this VST page and I have gone crazy nuts over all the information here. I am new to the site' date=' and went to several, okay MANY profiles to look at all the profiles, before and afters and stats. WELL..... I just discovered that you all can see on your profiles who has visited! ha ha ha.... Hi, my name is Angie and yes, I stalked your profile [/quote'] Oops well I am guilty as charged!

  7. I have had two episodes that were hard to explain. both happened in my third month post op. the first i was eating a bit of smooth PB and the second a Protein bar that i eat all the time without problems. Both times my stomach decided it did not like it and I suffered for a good 40 minutes before it came back up . I assumed that i must have not chewed thoroughly enough (chew PB?). Small price to pay for the benefits of the sleeve.IMHO
    . I totally agree!

  8. I was curious what kind of enlargements men on here have seen with weight loss. I am not asking anyone here to reveal penis sizes... I'm just curious as to what kind of gains people have seen with 50lb' date=' 100lb, etc weight loss in terms of inches? Or inch? :) Is there anything else that someone's encountered that may be fun to look forward to or to look for? I'm 10 days post op and looking for various subtleties to look forward to....[/quote'] I will be glad when I can look mr. Winkey eye to eye so to speak

  9. So I experienced loosing all my Breakfast this morning and have been sensitive all day. I ate the same amount I have several times before but it was explosive this morning to say the least! LOL I am behind on Water and Protein but tomorrow is another day just don't want to aggravate my stomach any more. Has this happened to any one else? Oh I am 6 weeks and 3 days post op.

  10. I have been toying with the idea of surgery for years. Last year a friend had a sleeve with great results. I still struggled with how this would change my life, my addictive relationship with food....... How could I do this and be happy? How could I not? After years of weight loss and regain. In April of this year my Dad had some health problems and ended up in a coma. As I stood over him thinking I was saying good bye I was filled with anger at him for not taking better care of himself, then it hit me that the extra 160 pounds I was carrying was probably worse on my health than his smoking was on his. At that point I became committed to have the sleeve and do all I could to become healthier!

On August the 20th I had my surgery the largest blessing of that day though was my Dad went with me. Fully recovered and smoke free! I am down 56 pounds total and walked 3 miles this afternoon my self esteem is soaring. Life is much deferent adjusting to a new way of eating and drinking has actually been fun. New foods, tracking everything I eat/drink. I am in love with with the new me. I still have a long way to go but am looking forward to the journey!

  11. II am trying to gain some realistic stats for the weight loss. I would really like your help. Please provide: 1. Height 2. Starting highest weight 3. Surgery weight 4. Goal weight and/or current weight 5. Length of time to reach goal weight 6. Age I know we should not compare ourselves to others' date=' however I am interested in the standard deviation and mean of weight loss in comparison to height. There are so many that feel like slow losers, and I am wanting to really look into the numbers. Is it really a slow loss, or are you right on track based on weight loss percentages. ;)[/quote'] 1. 5 10 2. 343 3. 335 4. Goal 200 current 288 5. 6 weeks out 6. 43
