  1. Had my surgery 9.25.13. I am down 40lbs from my surgery date. I know I have and overeating disorder that I just can't get a handle on. Drug addicts go to rehab and stay away from drugs. We can't stay away from eating, especially when stressed. I was hoping to at lest be down 80lbs by now. I go to therapy for my issues. My therapist suggested I come back here to get support and to realize I am not the only one. Is anyone else having problems?

  2. If ever I needed a support group or buddy, now is the time. I feel very worthless and down. I had surgery in September. To date I have lost 50lbs. I should be so far more ahead yet I have been stuck at the same weight since November. I can't seem to control what I eat and I am stuffing myself beyond. I really need to hear that I am not alone and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

  3. I eat a lot of salads and chicken, cheese, granola bars, fruit. I also eat not the greatest foods. I know I am my own worst enemy. I try to remember to drink my Protein Shakes and drink more. I am a huge stress and bordum eater and have been really busy and stressed at work, the Snacks people bring on are killing me.

Not to mention being tired and bored at night. I need to pull up my big girl pants and get back on the wagon but its sooo hard

  4. I am getting so frustrated. Like my screen name, I am an addict and know I have to do a lot of work but I have gotten off track. I don't eat horribly but I am not eating "diet" food. I had my surgery 9/25/13. My starting weight was 292, my pre-surgery weight was 286 and I am now down to 247-249 depending on the day. I have been this weight for 2.5 months. I can't eat a lot THANK GOD! so why am I not losing at all. I really could use a boost and some encouragement. I am afraid to go back to the doctor for my last follow up this month because I haven't moved the scale at all since the last visit. Everyone says my face is thinner but I am not seeing any progress.

  5. I was sleeved 09.27.2013. Starting weight 410 Current weight 337 73 pounds gone

I was sleeved 9/25/13. Starting weight 292 surgery weight 263 current weight 249. I'm stuck. Admittedly not eating the greatest and have strayed. Even though I can only eat a little at a time, I am finding it hard during the holidays. What are your secrets? :)

  6. His season is very frustrating but great all at once. My brain is saying eat more and more. My stomach is like nope! I need to choose smarter. I forget to plan my strategy and eat something with bread and I'm done! Also remembering to eat slow and SMALL BITES!!! The hardest is saying no. Thank goodness for m boyfriend. He pulls the plate away from me and eats my leftovers when family members disregard your instructions and fill your plate. 3 weeks and the holiday eating will be done.

Funny, after 4 or 5 bites I feel like Violet Beauregard from Charlie and the chocolate factory. On the upside I broke the 250 barrier!!! 49 lbs until the 100's!!!!

  7. Depending on when your surgery is, I don't see the harm in tasting everything within reason. Don't kill yourself trying to figure it out just use common sense and eat on the healthy side. I had my surgery in September and had a family celebration before my surgery. I just ate lightly and everything was ok. My NUT says just use good judgement and enjoy the holiday. Good luck!

  8. My WLS was 9/25/13. I have been type 2 before. I have been testing my blood sugar and it's fine. My pcp and shrink have verified not any meds I'm on. NUT says not dehydrated and isn't anything I'm eating. So I took notes and went to my chiropractor and it turned out to be my neck was out and I was having Migraines. I normally get the really painful ones but these were different. So far so good. I really hope that you feel better. It could be that your body is just getting used to the trauma that it went through. Let me know how it goes.
