  1. This is so well said I'm scheduled for vsg May 9th and I want nothing to do with scales, I will go off of how my clothes fit, I read about too many people getting depressed over numbers on the scale even after they've acknowledged that their clothes fit looser, I don't want to be in this boat,if I stall I don't need to know about it if I know that I'm doing the right things.
  2. I understand how you feel. I'm on a 2 week clear luquid diet, this is day 4 and my surgery is May 9th, I find myself getting more and more excited since I started the pre op diet, it's really starting to hit me that my whole life is about change!! Much success to you!!
  3. This show is more intense, shows the actual surgery, it has way more episodes than my 600 lb life. Fantastic series!!
  4. Fantastic job!!! You have many wonderful things ahead of you.
  5. This totally make sense, I notice when I read about long stalls it's usually people that have a hard time with protein intake. Thanks for the feedback I appreciate this site and those that are willing to share important information.
  6. That's right around the corner and it's great that your being proactive, and your right, it does feel great to know that I'm headed towards long term success.!!!
  7. That's wonderful, you must be so excited. Those are magical results for only 3 months. Great job!!!
  8. I'll take that, typically it would probably take me years to lose 45 pounds if at all. I can't wait to get this much needed tool on May 9th, thanks for responding.
  9. That's great that you can now have a variety of foods, thanks for the feedback.

  12. I'm pre op scheduled for May 9th I'm just curious about weight loss at 3 months, I know everyone's different, just looking for feedback. Thanks
  13. Does anyone that's been sleeved find themselves consuming protein only? If so, what results are you seeing?
  14. I will be sleeved May 9th can't believe it's this close, much success to you!!
  15. Fantastic results for only 12 weeks, you look great!!! Any tips?
  16. Jay Z, Encore, but it's not set in stone. Lol
  17. I don't know why all doctors are so different, I'm on my 3rd day of a two week liquid diet, my friend was only required to do 3 days of a liquid diet, and I also know of a lady that only needed to do a luquid diet for 24 hours prior to surgery. You still have a few days left, from what I understand it takes about 3 days to cleanse and shrink your liver, you will be fine just stay motivated for these last few days. And by the way I cheated also, had a piece of chicken and refried beans. Oh well I'm back at it tomorrow, I'm still pretty optimistic because I've eaten a lot less these past few days than I have in years and I've worked out for 30 min each of these past 3 days. Much success to you going forward.
  18. thank you for this post, I will be sleeved on May 9th and what you wrote sounds so much like myself, thanks for being so inspiring and sharing your story.
  19. I'm glad you posted this, it seems so much like me as far as why I'm obese, my liquid diet starts 4/25 and surgery 5/9, I'm just going to dive right in and handle it like my life depends on it!! Much success to you going forward.
  20. Wow!!! You have done a fantastic job in less than 2 months. This pic is so inspiring to me, thank you.
  21. congrats to you too, I know how you feel, my relationship with food will be soon ending and it seems like I'm taking a extra long kiss goodbye. Lol. I've been eating like crazy but at the same time I'm super eager to start my two week pre op diet. Weird!!!
