  1. Hi Mel1976, sorry I just saw this, I'm in Arizona and would love to be buddy's. I'm sorry about your complications with your band. Where are you getting sleeved? I was just sleeved September 25th, but love my sleeve so far. Do you have a date yet? I'm excited for you.
  2. Welcome and congratulations for your upcoming journey to a new you. Ditto on what Indecision said, this board has answered all the questions I had and some that I didn't even think of yet lol. Good Luck and keep us updated.
  3. WOW! You are doing great and look fantastic! When was your surgery?
  4. I started my chewables as soon as possible after surgery.
  5. I started them after surgery - three weeks out today, and I still take them. No problems here.
  6. Congratulations, you're almost there - how exciting. And yes, people like to voice there opinions, I even heard it from a nurse as I was getting ready to be wheeled in for surgery. The comment was (she's not a bariatric patient, she's not THAT big). My thought was why should I have to be THAT big at all, but I ignored her, she doesn't live in my skin nor does she have my medical problems and I wasn't going to get into it then. There's going to be comments that we just have to let roll off. Enjoy your journey. It's your, all yours, and you deserve it.

  14. I was Sleeved September 25th. I only told a handful of people that I was having the surgery and the others, I just didn't tell. If anyone ask me now, I will tell the truth. I think I just wanted to avoid any drama before the surgery. But everyone has to do what is comfortable with them.
