  1. Yeah being in Tijuana is not a vacation you want to have. I wanted to got as fast as possible as well. While also being in pain from surgery it's not ideal. There's no place like America and being home.
  2. how much water are you drinking in between meals? maybe up the water intake to keep you full.

  4. you can go days/weeks without food. don't worry about it as long as you get enough water. try liquid vitamins for essential nutrients if that helps..

  6. dr's say not to drink while eating because you may miss a lot of the nutrients from your foods. It passes through you too fast, thus leading to more eating.

  8. everyones body is different but keeping those calories low will lead to weight loss. it's science. calories in vs calories out. drink more water, protein shakes, and eat white fish for dinner, no carbs after lunch..

  10. your body lost a lot of water weight the first two weeks. You'll start losing excess fat from now on, just make sure you maintain a high protein diet. consider going back to liquids with maybe some sugar free jello for a few days. my dr said to not start soft foods until week 4 to allow for my stomach to heal.

  16. Samuel at ready for achange had a medical pass, same thing. We got across in 30-45 min. The line we passed up, cars were stacked up there, looked like a 4 hour wait.
  17. of course. you NEED a passport. the hotel and hospital were better than expected.
  18. ready4achange, dr. garcia, florence hospital. everything was great. the staff takes care of everything you need, every step of the way. at florence the doctors do not come in until 1pm and they are in surgery most of the day. I saw dr. garcia 2x and another bedside dr 2x. that's it. the nurses are the ones that will come by every so often and take your vitals and help you with the little things. The first few days are rough, gas, soreness, tightness in the stomach, but that goes away 100x more with each passing day. I never feel hungry, but get really dry and dehydrated so it's important to be drinking water, gatorade, and/or apple juice all day everyday. on day 5 i'm probably feeling about 90%, my wounds are sore and my stomach is still a little bloated, but i will be ready for work tomorrow no problem.
  19. flew home earlier today. my wounds are sore and i have a bruise on my stomach. i hope its nothing.
  20. $4700 great deal and it's with a great doctor with lots of experience.
  21. Ready4AChange, Dr. Garcia, Florence Hospital, great service, everything is taken care of for you, Highly recommend this choice.
  22. The hospital will provide slippers for you. You don't need Gas strips, they have all the medicine there for you. I just brought a carry on and came home with my xrays, blood work, and medicine. Go thru Ready 4a Change, they really take care of you.
  23. Yeah the nurses were awesome, everyone was really nice and polite. No reason for concern about your personal belongings at Florence Hospital. It's a small enough hospital where no one is getting away with it anyways.
