  1. glad to hear you are doing better too. I have my first appointment this week and I'm starting to get a little anxious.
  2. I am so new to this I'm not even sure of what pre-op tests are needed but I would think Temple, Austin or Waco would be able to do most testing. Sorry if that isnt much help as I said its all so new to me.
  3. Thank you for posting your thoughts. I am new to this forum and have my first appointment in 2 days. My parents are helping me pay for it since my insurance wont. I have been struggling with the same thoughts since they told me they wounld help me. I dont want to let them down but can I really get a handle on this addiction?? I thought I was the only one who looked forward to the food at the movie or other events. I can totally relate to your relationship with food and appreciate you sharing this so I can learn too. This is a great forum
  4. You will be fine. I am about the same size and able to fit. If you already have a seatbelt extender even better. I have just gotten in the habit of asking for one as I board so I dont have to flag someone down later. If you can get a window seat it may be better because you can kinda lean into to window. Maybe at check in you can ask how crowded it is and if there is a seat without someone next to you. Relax. it will all work out and congrats on your loss so far.
  5. Wow, that is great. I am scheduled for my first office visit in 2 weeks and hope to schedule my surgery that day. Happy to read how quick people are bouncing back. Keep up the good work.
