fruit bars?
They're amazing, but be careful you may start eating more than 5 a day. To much of a trigger. Had to turn away.

Have you froze a protein shake?
I freezed chocolate and it reminded me of eating a chocolate frosty. Very tasty.

chewing
This is hard trait to learn after the many years of bad habits....fill, fill, fill until you cannot fit much more in you mouth. The good thing is your new pouch can only take so much. Goox luck!!

gained 4 lbs?
I would go completely insane weighing myself daily, because I know you’ll have ups and downs. My goal is to weigh in every month and take an updated picture with the weigh in, so I can see the difference a month makes versus a day. You should be able to notice your clothing feeling bigger and bigger every week. This is a good sign you're on the right track. This is what works for me.

Measures, Measures, Measures
Bea Amaya, I really like the time and effort you have put into your Sleeve journey. The best way to understand and drive improvements is by documenting and charting your success and failures. I love your detailed categories and illustrations. I was hoping you can message me the excel file so I can start tracking this way too. Thanks Bea Amaya!!

Telling Work
Are you able to take short term medical leave with a doctor note? You do not have to disclose any information besides medical reasons when your out. Your doctor will understand this request and should provide you a note for your employer.

Starting to second guess myself
Being scared is normal to feel once you have the sugery scheduled. You have to trust you made the right decision for yourself and all your research and choosing the right surgeon make you feel mentally and physically ready!! Just have faith in whatever decision you make is the right one for you.

Not common from what I've read so far. I'm also 3 weeks out and have not felt any cold symptom. You must of caught a bug somewhere. Plenty of liquids and rest are in order. Hope you feel better soon!!

Perfect time to stop. I quit soaking 2 1/2 years ago and that has been one of the best choices I made prior to the sleeve. You can do this. A better healthier you.

Things I will NOT miss about being fat.
1) feeling embarrassed when traveling and asking for a seat belt extender and having the passenger next to you sighing because you're sitting to close to them or asking to raise the arm rest to allow circulation. 2) not having the energy to play outdoors with my boys. 3) having food run my world. 4) sarcastic jokes and remarks at work or with friends. 5) aways asking for a table at restaurants because I didn't fit in a booth. 6) hated shopping for clothes. 7) having to look at furniture with weight limitations before buying or sitting. 8) having to sleep with a cpap machaine. 9) not being able to run urban marathons like I want too. 10) not being able to go watch a baseball or football game at the stadiums because not being able to fit comfortably in the seat. 11) not able to ride a normal bicycle. So happy I made this decision to change my life mentally and physically...bring on the change!!
