Am 5 weeks out and last night my kidneys started to hurt but today they hurt pretty darn bad, has anyone had any kidney problems after surgery? I drink tons of Water (hardly anything else, maybe a diet snapple here and there) and I've never had kidney problems in the past either!

Thanks all!! I'm plan on starting it slow with just cardio stuff for now but I do feel like trying to get my fluids in can be a full time job! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one struggling with it!

I'm 3 weeks post op and am getting into going to the gym but I am having a hard time getting all my fluids in daily as it is so I'm almost scared to go to the gym and work out for fear of getting dehydrated, any tips or insight?

I started purred foods on Friday, ever since then I have had mild heartburn does this usually go away after a while or should I call my doc in the AM and see if I should start taking something?

Thanks! I figured I would have to take it easy on the weights for a while but I didn't know if there were any limits on the cardio side like elliptical or bike?

So I am only 15 days post and I'm 24 yrs old and I've never really had a bf, there was one for a while but I had to be kept his secret and no one could know about me, so it wasn't much of a relationship. So this is my big fear... once I start losing more weight and guys actually start looking at me and are interested, am I going to resent them for not seeing me earlier when I was over weight? Especially if I knew them prior to the weight loss?

I've seen a few people mention the Protein Shots they sell at Walmart and I saw they have a few different kinds and brands, any recommendations on which ones to get?

I am 11 days post and the past 2 days I have also had extremely bad upper back pain and have no idea what it is!

I brought with my own water bottle as well so they would just refill that for me instead of the weird pitchers they sometimes have! I was also glad that I brought with my own chewable vitamins and there's weren't very good!

Hey! I live about 2 hours north of the cities and I just got my sleeve done 1 week ago today!!! I've been pretty excited but nervous and all that stuff too! I'm more then willing to be a support buddy to you but I am fairly new at this and don't know how much I would be able to help you can I'm not as far out as you!

I personally could only stand muscle milk! Better then some other powders! But sometimes for a variety I would add in a tbsp ish of Jello pudding mix in there cause there are a few different flavors!! I also found I love like cold fushion, smoothies shops, I would stop and usually grab a different one every day cause they have like 32 flavors!

Thanks all, I've tried a variety of different drinks to see what I would be satisfied with but it might be a mental thing, knowing I can't and am worried about dehydration doesn't help either. I might have to try just filling my mouth up and spitting it out and see how that works! Thanks again!

I am 6 days post op and have been sipping my fluids but I just don't feel like I am ever able to get the thirsty feeling to go away, I just want to be able to drink more or "quench" my thirst! Any ideas on anything I can do so I can feel like my thirst is "quenched" and I'm not dying for more?
