  1. That's what I'm trying to do...
  2. I have ha a stomach virus for 3 days...extreme nauseous with basically dry heaves cuz there is nothing there. I've called the dr, they called in phenergan, but I'm scared imma dehydrate...any suggestions??
  3. I had the same fear b/c I know 2 people who did exactly that! However, at four weeks out I can tell you, they had to try really hard to do that. I've lost a total of 33 lbs as of today (which is exactly four weeks). You follow your nut's advice and your surgeon and all will be well
  4. THATS what the belly binder was for! I missed that entire thing! (From MFP) Anyway, congrats and hope you stay feeling well:)
  5. I can't tolerate the shakes at all! They make me so sick:(
  6. It's been difficult for me...but it is getting easier. I just don't keep drinks by me when I'm eating otherwise I would drink the whole tome
  7. I am only 4 weeks out and have been eating scrambled eggs since since 12 days out, which is fine with my nut. I still cannot eat the whole thing but they are good...I've even started putting cut up ham and cheese in them...talk about awesome!!
  8. Yes, I will be a newbie. Can't wait, just wasn't rue when I could start. Thank you so much:(
  9. The doctor I work for is Indian and his marriage was arranged. To me, an American, it seems so strange. Anyway, is there any way you can talk to them about it??
  10. If they only left you because of your size, you are MUCH better off without them!! How stupid and superficial!!! A person should never be judged on size. I've always been a big girl and my hubby has always told me I am beautiful. He loves me for ME...not what size clothes I wear. I'm sorry you had to go through that:(
  11. Prayers for you and your family. God Bless
  12. Only one meal a day?! My nut said 3 meals a day...I try to adhere to that...even if they are small
  13. I'm 4 weeks post-op and want to know how soon I can get into MMA training...from what I understand it's a full-body workout. I don't want to mess up anything internally.
  14. Thanks ma'am. I feel awesome!
  15. Pain wasn't so much an issue for me as NAUSEA AND VOMITING!!! It was HORRIBLE! But I took my liquid Lortab for a few days...not round the clock, but as needed
  16. Okay, so I will be 4 weeks out tomorrow and have lost about 28 lbs thus far...a pre-op pic and a post op pic from about a week ago...still looks waaaay better!
  17. Images added to a gallery album owned by ReDbEaN in Before and After Gastric Sleeve Photos

  18. Hah! You got it right the first time!!! Whole CHECK ;-P
  19. Radical it is, a cop-out it is not. It is not easier as you will see, it is just much more effective. SOOOO TRUE!!! It is NOT easier!! But it will work
  20. Honestly, I think that was one of the HARDEST things for me! I was sooo ready to eat. And I didn't have to do a liquid diet before surgery like some people (I don't understand why some doctors made y'all do that). My doc only required liquids only the day before surgery. I'm two days shy of 4 weeks and it's worth it! I can eat now - not much but I can. You'll get there. Hang in there:)
