LL, you are right! We are doing it on our own!! Yes, it's hard work, definitely not "easy," but oh so worth it:)

Too much sugar/sweets makes me extremely nauseous. I'm about 3 1/2 months out and I cannot tolerate sweets. My MIL made homemade eggnog this past weekend - I thought nothing of it and drank about 1/2 a cup...OMG it was awful. I finally took Zofran b/c the nausea was unbearable. Idk if my sleeve will always be like this or not but I need it to!!! Before surgery I had a HUGE sweet tooth! Not anymore, thankfully.

Congratulations Everyone: I'm also having a hard time getting Protein in. I take1 bite and am full. Protein Drinks I am not able to drink. I know I'm suppose to take in 60 grams a day, but it's so hard, I'm no where near that! I know if you get a good amount though and drink Water it helps with the weight loss, I wonder why that is?. My 3 month appt is next week. I was hoping to be at a 40-45% loss of my excess weight. I lost another 2 lbs this week so I'm hopeful to hit my goal I set for myself. Keep up the good work everyone! Surg 09/25/13 Starting Weight 282 Curent Weight 234 Motivation-I can't wait to get to Onederland Goal 150 or less
I can't tolerate them either...but Proti Diet had a hot cocoa mix with 15 grams of protein in it and I can tolerate that and it's good.

There's a recipe for egg custard on bariatriceating that I've been making weekly. It's delish and I can eat it unlike scrambled eggs still.
Is this it??

I hear ya sista! You go girl. I understand completely. I was a size 8 when my hubby and I married 9 years ago, but then I hurt my back moving a patient. One thing led to another and I wound up a size 22! 2 months after my sleeve I'm down to a size 16. I'm not yet ready to "have the lights on",but hubby is. dde1c I'm comfortable in my gym clothes, but I'm not ready for "neked" yet. Maybe after another 20 lbs or so.
Seriously? No lights on ever???

Oh no, RJ!! I'm so sorry to read this!! My goodness, you surely are a lesson in keeping positive through just about ANYthing!!! Hun, I would hope and pray I could be as gracious and positive thinking as you are if I had to endure the same battles/struggles that you do. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, my friend.
