5'5" tall, i had a leak found on oct 16, drain surgery and stent placed in stomach until nov 14. No like the stent nor the swallow tests.

so sorry about leak. I thought by week 4 we are pretty much OK. I guess not. Again so sorry. How did you know you had a leak? I don't know much about leaks.

I had a sharp pain in my back, and told the dr. He sent me for a cr scan it showed an absess that required drain, and then xrays showed the leak.

Complications on wk4 leak, surgery for drain and stent! Now at home for three more wks @liquids unlit stent removal

I had a sharp pain in my back (left) for my 1st month appointment. Dr sent me for a ct scan and found an absess with Fluid on the back of my stomach. Had a drain for a week, and now a stent for a month to heal the leak he found in my esophagus. Now back to all fluids, no much of a voice, lots of fatigue and pain in my sleeve due to the stent.

I have pain in my left side pretty bad' date=' feels like a knife or charley horse. My post op appt is today kinda scared. I can barely eat 1 oz and can't do any Protein shakes at all. Down 28 lbs so something is working. Glad you are doing better[/quote']

That sharp pain like i was being back stabbing, causing me short breath as well

Well yesterday I went to my 1st month appointment, and a huge backpain. The dr sent me to the er for a ct scan as a prevemtion. There was an absess in my stomach. He did a procedurr to drain my absess but saw everything else in good shape. Then Today sent me gor a leak test. It seems I have a small leak and now need another drainage, and an stem or extem in my sleeve for the leak to be fixed and heal. Im extremely sad. All this moth everything was goi h really well. 44 pounds lost sin 2 week preop

Broth( all kinds), Proteinex, muscle milk, yello and sugar free popsticles!

Proteinex is 1 oz of Protein no carbs is great

hey I had my surgery 9/16 (I know it says August sleeves ) I must have been out of it lol!! I've hit a brick wall. Could you share with me what your menu looks like. how much Protein and calories are you getting in?

I have one egg in the morning or sibu( Vitamins for hair and nails) then muscle milk or Proteinex, Water and crystal light for hydration, and broth at dinner with meat, chicken, shrimps, etc, meat cut in small very small pieces. I also have popsticles sugar free and yello sugar free!

Be calm, and very cooperative alll time, follow dr instructions and you will see the results!!

Yes, all good, back to work! Not easy but working on it, still with liquids broth and added fish to diet. Learning to do purees. And happy with the lost of 37 pounds!

My dr said a week but we did it like 5 days after surgery, my drive is in high????!

Hen I drink Water (las two days) ive had the feeling that thw stomach is closed and the water is pushin to enter the stomach.

I lost 15 pounds after my first week too! Isn't that awesome! Yes my belly itches!

Im geeling great, light, with energy. Bus as soln as I workout I feel exhausted. Dr's said is bacause the body is in a lind of hibernation state. As of today 33.5 pounds!!!

I geel great lots of energy and lighter. But I can feel some fatigue when walking. So far no complications! And working on the mect 90 pounds to loose!

Hello Im 9 days past surgery 16 pounds lost inthe two weeks liquid diet, 15.5 as of today for a total of 31.5 pounds inthree weeks

Now one week past op I lost 31 pounds

I had my first post op today and im 15.5 pounds less for a total of 31.5 in three weeks!!! 90 more to go!

Im one week past op and i sarted with a poached egg made in chichen broth it was great been able to use the spoon.
