  1. OMG! We have the exact stats...I am 5'10" how tall are you? My hubby took the battery out of the scale because I was becoming to obsessed! I weigh myself on Mondays.
  2. Thanks for sharing! How long were you in surgery?
  3. My children bought me an open hearts necklace for Christmas. It doesn't fit. I told them that I will wear it after surgery and never take it off! As for the shoes....I pray for one size down do that I can buy cute shoes again!
  4. I'm itchy too! I was thinking it was my liquid vitamins but it wasn't .
  5. You look AMAZING! I love seeing this kind of success, it gives me hope! Keep up the good work!
  6. Thanks for sharing that! Good luck on your continued journey!
  7. I too dream of a mommy makeover. I have even started a spare change MM fund jar. I'm only 1.5 weeks out so....save save save! I plan to do it all at once!
  8. Glad all is well! Welcome to the losers bench! Yes, walk , walk, walk.
  9. I am doing really well. My incisions are healing nicely, I'm slowly starting to feel like my old self. I'm not hungry at all so I have to force myself to drink. My diet goes from full to puréed today. I just pray I tolerate it. I hate nausea. I have 4 kids and my youngest is 11 so they are pretty independent. They along with my hubby are extremely supportive. I still have 3 weeks off of work and plan to increase my walking today. Keep up the great work! You will be picking up your baby before you know it!
  10. I told them the truth, I'm proud of this journey. They were all very kind and supportive. I only had 1 person tell me I wasn't big enough for WLS. I explained to her the health benefits I hope to reap. She had no idea. My co-workers are supportive , but I understand others may no be.
  11. 1 night. I was so happy to go home because I could not rest in the hospital. It felt so good to sleep in my own bed. I had zero complications.
  12. All totally normal. Sending prayers to you guys and making way on the losers bench. Keep us posted.
  13. Just wanted to welcome you. We were sleeved on the same day. I'm down 14 pounds since surgery and 24 pounds if you count my pre op diet. 26 pounds since surgery is awesome! How is your recovery going?
  14. Yeah, my hubby and kids chimed in so I will be walking the track only until further notice! I tell you, since I had this surgery my 4 kids are involved in every move I make. It's kinda cute in an annoying sort of way.
  15. Call your surgeon! Bright red blood indicates an active bleed somewhere. This is nothing to wait around with. Keep us posted please. I hope you feel better.
  16. I never asked and she said no lifting. So I think I will go for it. I may just call the nurse tomorrow.
  17. I'm 10 days post-op. Can I walk on the treadmill now? Or am I being ambitious?
  18. That's scary! Glad your sleeve is ok and there is no leak! Are you feeling better? What is the doc's plan?
  19. I have a liquid vitamin which I am having no problem taking. However, I am having terrible itching and am thinking its from the vitamins. Is this possible or is the itching from something else? I'm so confused!
  20. Yes, I'm off for at least 4 weeks and it could be more if the doctor thinks I need it. I also used STD and FMLA.
  21. I am soooo hoping my feet shrink. Currently an 11 so anything will help. I love shoes but never buy because I have poor luck finding my size. I want cute shoes again!????
