I was the first person up for surgery..started at 9 and was over before lunch..there may have been other patients in recovery.. I only noticed about 5 nurses hovering and asking me stuff..I had been extubated and pain was well controlled and was transferred to the ward within 10 mins of waking up..saw my mum and aunty then drifted off to sleep for a few hours..all in all it went pretty smoothly.

hey nice to meet you yeah I could hardly believe my eyes lol and even made my family weigh themselves to ensure the scales were not out! I lost 33 pounds pre op too so wow have lost 59 in total recovery is going well,surgery was performed laparoscopically with no complications...thr hard part for me is not being able to hold my 2 year old daughter but I have my husband and my Aunty is staying to help too,so its more the emotional side,but I know it won't be long..how are things going for you??

I have just gone through this really recently and ypu its tough..my surgeon made me do a month! but I know it was best for my health,so I just tried to take each day as it came,get in as many fluids as possible and also was allowed sugarfree gum which helped a lot ...hope all goes well xoxx
