  1. Very nice! You should be very proud!
  2. Prayers and good thoughts coming your way.
  3. Sleeved 3/20 and back to work 4/21. My job will not allow you to come back with ANY restrictions, so it will be at least 4weeks.
  4. That is usually a requirement of insurance companies. Your surgeon may or may not require a small amount of weight loss prior to surgery. Mine required a 10# loss.
  5. That's amazing news! I really hope this happens for me as well. I was sleeved on 3/20
  6. Sitting in pre-op waiting to rock and roll! My nerves have kicked in really bad!
  7. I applied on 3/11 and received my approval and shipping notices on 3/19.
  8. Just got an email saying that I'm approved. Shipment should be here in 3-4 business days. I also got the vitamins and scar cream! I have Apex insurance and CVS/Caremark for prescriptions.
  9. Can I be added to bariatric newbies as well please?: cdb317@icloud. com
  10. I just got the call! I have to be there at 11:15. Please pray that all goes well for me. I'm nervous, excited, and hungry!
  11. I'm constantly worried too. Plus, I'm an RN so I have all kinds of crazy thoughts running through my head! It will be fine!
  12. I'm here. 3.5 days for me! Nervous and excited!
  13. Ok, I think I fixed it! Please try again. It's cdb317@icloud.com
  14. March 20th here too! Ok to walk immediately but nothing else.
  15. Can I have an invite? Having surgery 3/20 and I'm nervous! cdb317@icloud.com
  16. Thank God! Glad you got good news! Congrats!
  17. Hi! They have ways to control your blood pressure while you are in surgery. You need to talk with your doc about your concerns. The anesthesiologist will also be a good person to speak with about this. The surgery may help with your BP. Good luck to you!
  18. My diet counts SF Popsicles and SF jello as liquids. Decaf coffee is ok on my diet as well (I thinks it's more about what you put in it). The first 3 days were horrible. On day 6 and I'm feeling pretty darn good except for the horrible taste I get in my mouth. I have a family of 6 and work 12/hr shifts and nothing much has changed on that front except they are eating healthier too. When is your surgery? I do get a high protein me all with my 3 shakes and 3 snacks but everyone's diet is different.
  19. Thanks! I guess I'll find out soon enough.
  20. Are you supposed to use your health insurance info or you prescription coverage info? I used my prescription info.
  21. Congratulations! This journey is amazing.
